I just installed the AMP BedXtender Max with the BedXtender Mounting Brackets (No-Drill) and wanted to share some pictures for those who are interested in purchasing one.

    AMP BedXtender Mounting Kit
    (No-Drill)
    Part #74614-01A

These brackets mount directly to the bed tie downs and takes minutes to install. You will need a T40 torx bit.

    BE061174-4274-47DA-BB48-FDC89D7D4CEE.jpg
*note: not required to install the BedXtender. However, if you do not want to drill holes, you have to get these brackets.

    AMP BedXtender Max
    Part #74813-01A

Highly recommend the Max as it nearly covers the whole tailgate.

    3EA369BF-8344-4D91-BFF7-CE068DCAA5B8.jpg
Great for securing a load inside of the bed.
    9C4EFAA3-94F5-4A7C-A5BB-60065C15DEEB.jpg

The overall install took about 20-30 mins. The BedXtender is really light and easy to transition from inside to outside of the bed. In addition, if you want to remove the BedXtender, just lift it at a 45 degree angle and it comes right off.

Hopefully this helps those that are interested in the product.

When you get a chance, will you measure from the cab side of the bed (inside the bed) to the bed extender when it's in the flipped inside position (inside the bed and not out on the tailgate). I have a 37 inch tire that I keep in my bed, so I'm curious if it will fit. Thanks

Try Amazon, they have the folded piece and you can attach the brackets to that then use the stock holes on the bed.

Yeah, that "openness" was the reason I never really considered one of these. I'd probably buy a few extra lengths of that mesh. After a few 2x4s slide into it, I'm sure it isn't going to look pristine. But I mostly need it for camping gear.

We loaded up for camping a week or so ago and... we need more space. I got initial approval to go with the bed extender but then I realized I can't add a bike hitch mount. So not sure where I'm going to go now. Rack probably. I really don't want to go with a topper as I love my back window.
