2021 trp pro drl's

Does anyone know a mode to make the drl lights stay on all time.As they are now they only come on with the park lights.

 

Check your settings in Entune. There should be something under Lighting that corresponds to DRL on/off. My truck’s DRL is always on unless I set the lights to Off or have the brights on.

So it does have a setting in etune and it was set on.The only way they come on is if the switch is set to auto or i turn the park lights on.I was looking for a way to have them on when the headlight switch is off.

 

DRLs like the amber turn signal light, or the white LED top and bottom strip light?

 

The white led around the headlight.

 

They should be on bright when the headlights are off, then on dim when the parking/headlights are on.

On my 2014 with turn signal DRLs, they don't come on when the truck is started.
They come on either when the parking brake is released or the truck is put into gear, or something like that.
I can't remember what triggers them on.

Try a few different scenarios and see if they come on with the lights off..
It may have something to do with AUTO, but I'd think in manual with the lights off, the bright DRLs SHOULD be on.

If you can't it figured out, let the dealer do it on warranty..

Thats how my 2016 tundra was.The 2021 has 4 positions on the headlight switch drl off,auto,park lights,head lights.

 

Hmmm, I wonder if that switch would work correctly on a 2nd Gen....
