How was the bed step install? Looks like a pain from the instructions.

Is there a plug on the back of the rear view mirror? Or what adapter you have?

Everyone is OK no one was hurt it was a slow accident (30 mph). What made it worse is the other driver froze up and hit the brakes when they got in front of me. From what I can see I'll need headlight, Under headlight panel, lower bumper center and corner cap, fender, hood, and possible a light bar bracket because the light bar down there is loose.

Well just to post back, took it to Les Schwab to have the alignment done and I asked them to just peek with their scan tool at the TPMS sensors. The shop that did the tires said one was just not transmitting. Not the case, the sensor on the right rear is not only not transmitting, but it’s flopping around inside the tire/wheel. So that sucks. I’m gonna have to have those incompetent people take the tire back off and insist on an OEM replacement.

So it sounds like they broke the sensor off inside. Glad the tire held air.

Did my break in oil change at 1k miles.

Duct tape worked well in preventing the fluid gymnastics and the resulting mess on top of the skid.

I ended up just holding a funnel in 1 hand and removing the plug with the other. This allowed me to redirect the flow straight down into my oil catch. Only had to hold it for roughly a minute, then allow my now patented method to take effect. ;)

I was going to install a Fumoto but now will see how this technique holds up.

Installed tri color sticks on the center caps. Sure makes the OE wheels look sharp. Still not sure if I’m keeping them or going with Method 701s.

PowerBrakes Kit… Calipers/Rotors/stainless brake lines… Only a couple of days old… haven’t had a chance to test them out… They were recommended to me by my mechanic for towing my trailer… they dissipate heat well.. I guess :notsure:… They look sexy as sh*t though…

Made a little progress on interior chrome delete. Anyone have a tip on removing the shift gate piece? Couldn't get the d#*% thing out.

If I remember right, it's plastic welded on the back side. You have to remove the whole console piece.

Test fit my new ReadyRamp. They had been out of stock for a while, so I jumped on these. Yes, it does fit with the Total Chaos bed stiffeners! Now I'd like to know what's the best way to stiffen the tailgate for loading my motorcycle?

Your tailgate can handle the weight of the bike rolling in and out of the bed no problem. I’ve loaded my bike in and out of trucks for years and never once had an issue

So to get that chrome piece off, pull the trim panel off . The whole panel comes off as pictured. There are 2 screws on the shifter assembly to remove it.. On the bottom you will see where the chrome is attached by 5 or so plastic pins that are melted in place. I used needle nose pliers to carefully twist those off. The chrome can now be removed. When I put mine back together, there was enough pin material left in the hole that I used a soldering iron to melt it to the surrounding plastic of the hole. After I did that, I took the pieces that I twisted off and melted those back into them as well. I did mine a year ago and have not had any issues at all.
