The mount is sitting between 2 rubber bushings to allow slight movement. If it didn’t your bottom bushing would be fucked within short order due to caster.

Do you know where the 3 bolts on the strut mount need to he compared to the shock bushing?

Off the top of my head no. It’s in the FSM. But I’m no where near my computer currently and TIS won’t load PDF files on my phone

Thank you I found this for 05-06 I'm assuming it has to be the same. It's crazy how no videos on YouTube or anywhere mention this.

Ok so I finally finished the front end rebuild. And I have to move on the the back now, but I have a question there is a difference of 1" from driver to passenger.

Should I wait for suspension to settle before ordering a ½" spacer to fix the 1" difference?

Also I'm assuming I have to wait until suspension settles to get an alignment.

I would wait at least a week before making a decision on a spacer. I would wait about a week before an alignment IMHO. Post up pics when you're done. We like pics.

Will do the issue is the alignment is way off so don't want to drive that much. Will the suspect settle without driving tbe truck or just drive it as is.

Align now, touch up if they settle in a month or two.

    Are these good alignment specs?

If I give these specs to technician is there anything I have to let him know so he does a good job?

I got this with the JBA UCA they say tell tech to set caster as high as possible. Is that around +2.6?

If he knows what he is doing, you shouldn't have to.

Yes, 2.7 or 2.8 is also good.

This spec moves the lower ball joint towards the front of the truck and therefore the tire also moves towards the bumper. This gives more clearance to the foot well area/pinch weld at the rear of the fender, where the majority of the rubbing is.

Make sure you check into the place you're having it done at. Was a pain in my area to find a place to set custom alignment.

Going to take it to the place I take my track car so I'm sure they will set it to my specs. Just need to give them the specs and they will get it there.

Not stock spec for camber and toe.

-0.3 camber and +0.15 toe in.
