    I've been hearing a lot of anti-gravity batteries, https://antigravitybatteries.com/

I also notice they have group 27 available, was wondering anyone is using one? does it have same issue as AGM battery about charging?

I would read their literature, lithium needs special care in near freezing cold temps and I think there are some other considerations when using them as a starter battery.

Battery is sluggish in cold temperatures- Cold weather (39F and below) creates resistance in Lithium batteries. On the initial start attempt, you may notice sluggish starting performance. There is nothing wrong with the battery and with the next start attempt, the battery power will come back as the battery self-warms from the Current discharge during the initial start attempt. Another method to self-warm the battery is to turn you your lights for a few minutes to help the battery warm-up before attempting a start. Depending on the size motor you have, and the diculty in turning-over that motor, the effect may vary.

I run lithium iron batteries in my motorcycles. I can absolutely confirm what Saltyhero13 is saying here ^^^.

Yup. I put one in my dirt bike and the first attempt routinely doesn't have enough 'oomph' to turn the motor over fast enough. The 2nd attempt always does though after the battery warms up from the first attempt. A little annoying, but saved me a couple of pounds over the stock battery.

As I noted in my post above and CMikeB's photo confirms these car/truck/motorcycle batteries are lithium iRon. Iron. Not ion like in yer eyeFone. Iron. Now you can be the smartest dude in the room.

    Class dismissed.

I know when you run them in a boat you have to replace your onboard charger if you have one. Not sure about alternators.

Lets not confuse the issue. The OP is asking about using one as a starter battery while you are displaying "house" batteries in use.

Yes. I think this is true in normal circumstances for "dumb" batteries. This one looks like it has an onboard management system so its appears to be be a drop in replacement with no other mods required.

Keep in mind there are different lithium chemistries but here is a vid discussing the problem you are highlighting:

I've reached out to antigravity about potential issue with Tundra undercharge the batteries, they don't directly state a battery for Tundra (but they have for 4runner), they do list group 27 which fits.

I don't think you'll have the same issue as with AGM batteries if that is your concern.
    https://antigravitybatteries.com/downloads/AG-Automotive-RS-Batteries-User-Manual.pdf

The Antigravity Battery is designed to be a “drop-in” replacement for Lead/Acid Batteries provided you bought the same Group Size as the Lead/Acid Battery you are replacing. You will be using the same mounting hardware as the original battery. Due to the differences in vehicles we cannot give specific instructions. So we ask that you have a professional install the battery if you are not familiar with replacing a Car battery
