Im poking around for info regarding a supercharger in my 21 trd pro, Toyota no longer offers them apparently. Best recommendations? Will an aftermarket void warranty?

    Too many, but not enough....
Magnuson (TRD) recently began to offer a supercharger kit for 2019-2021 tundras. Check their website. I want to say it is around 8k out the door with a tune included, though they dont install.

Three options available: Magnuson, Harrop, and Whipple. Maggie is closest to OEM but if you are going all in on performance you'll likely hit a bottleneck with the Maggie. Happy range seems to be around 550HP to 600HP before having to replace and fortify internals; this varies per vehicle as some have pushed higher before grenading their engines. Some dealership will honor your original warranty if they do the install of the Maggie, the trick is finding such dealerships. All the others will likely "void" parts of the OEM warranty.

They all look good. @ViktorG has a review of Maggie vs Harrop quality:

There are a few early vids of the Whipple on YT; they had some initial completeness, compatibility/integration and instructions issues that seem to be rectified. I don't know of anyone on the forums that has one but the brand name alone speaks quality:

Magnuson is a copy of the original TRD blower offering 1.9L displacement; they offer a 3 year or 36K mile warranty. Tried and true with many members on the forum running these for 100K miles or more.:

Harrop is a 2.65L S/C offering a 1 year 12K Mile warranty. A newer offering with a few of us discussing our installs and issues in the thread linked above:

    https://www.harrop-usa.com/tvs2650-supercharger-kit-tundra/p24

Whipple is the largest blower offered with 3.1L displacement; not sure on the warranty:

I don't know the status of tunes on 2021s. HP tunes was the go to but they haven't cracked the 2019s last I checked. I think the only two options is OV vF tuner and D3 Performance. OV was banned from these and the Tacoma forums; D3 is the newer kid on the block and looks like a promising solution. Unless you are doing the tuning yourself it doesn't matter too much if they both give you access to all the maps and variables.

Forgot to mention Harrop offers two stages, Stage 1 and Stage 2. Stage 1 uses a larger pulley to stay on the OEM fuel map; the engine pulls timing to keep it from grenading the engine. Not ideal but viable. Stage 2 gives you full performance and requires a tune and some additional upgrades.

    Great info @Saltyhero13 !

This is more of additional info than anything else.
The thing I would add in regards to the Mag is that Magnuson actually designed and developed the TRD with Toyota that was 500hp When Toyota pulled the SC's from OEM availability, Magnuson was free to improve their own design by adding 50 more hp to make 550hp on their current releases.
It's not really a copy of the TRD since was always their design to start. This is the reason I went with the Mag. Tried and true for the long haul and valid for my 125k mile warranty. (Installed at the dealership)

Thank you. I'm not sure there are any mechanical differences between the original TRD blower (discontinued in 2015) and the Maggie aside from the components of the ancillary systems (injectors and such). I would be curious to hear what improvements Magnuson made to the original TRD design; housing looks identical but maybe gearing?.

As far as I know, Eaton licenses out their TVS designs to various vendors; Rouch, Edlebrock, Magnuson and Harrop included. The various vendors choose their form factors (how they house the Eaton designed rotors):

    https://www.eaton.com/us/en-us/locate/tvs-distrubutors.html

Whipple makes their own design which is a screw style rotor vs Eatons TVS (roots) style. This may be a data point for the OP to factor in.

    JM Crewmax,
Did you ever install a supercharger on your 2021 TRD Pro. I ask because I put a Whipple on mine which they claim brings it up to around 550hp. I have never put it on a dyno so I dont know but I do know what it takes to install and although I'm no gurue, I may can answer other questons you have. It definately gave it more pep off the line and at any cruising speed.
