I will be eventually putting on a 2.5-3in lift just not right now. I have the opportunity to get some tires right now though. Will 35x12.50x18 fit on a +18 wheel?

Should be just fine with +18. May need some trimming but I wouldn’t know about that part since I run an aftermarket front bumper. I run the same size with zero offset on a 3” ish lift but had to do BMC with the zero offset.

Tire website says actual overall diameter is 34.5in.

if you search there are threads of fitting 35s with 2-3 inch lift in front. Certainly doable. May need the bumper spacers, remove those front air flaps and or mud flaps too but there are lots of pictures and info on this site of people running 35s

Trying to decide between 35x12.50x18 and 295/70/18. I want the 35 Toyo's cause you can get them I'm a load range D. Would prefer not to get a E. But if the 35's aren't going to fit without a chop and other modifications I might go with the 295's because they aren't as wide. Basically the same diameter though. It makes me mad that there aren't any tires out there besides load range E in bigger sizes.

totally agree on the load ratings. If manufacturers made 33-35 inch tires for 18 inch and 20 inch wheels in load range C for half ton trucks and larger SUVs they would sell a ton of them.

285/75/18 is tall like a 35, maybe a smidge taller, but thinner and MUCH easier to fit than an 35x1250. The 295/70 are a bit shorter than the 285s, but a bit wider. Both are widely used on Tundras. Tons of pictures of Tundras running them all over Tundras.com

Here is one of the threads about fitting 35s with as little fuss as possible- https://www.tundras.com/threads/how-to-fit-35s-without-a-can-mount-chop.93341/#post-2354919

I just picked up a 2021 Platinum with a 2" leveling kit. It was a demo and has 295/75R18 Toyo Open Country Extremes. When I looked them up they said 35" but when I looked up Falken Wildpeak AT3W they were 34.6 I think. Don't quote me on it. I just sold my 21 Tacoma that I had put Falken Wildpeaks on and actually prefer them but I'll stick with the Toyo's for now. I have absolutely no rubbing and I couldn't see any sign of modifications to stop any rubbing. 20211228_141816.jpg

The 35's are basically the same diameter but are wider (12.5) vs the 295's are like 11.3 or something. How much room do you have? Do you think you could fit the 12.5 wide?

I looked it over last week in a heated garage but it's -33 Celsius outside so I'll see what I can do tomorrow and let you know.

wildpeak 295 70 18 34.3 tall 11.5 wide +25 offset w stock suspension and bumper shims. no rubbing with front and rear flaps removes. I didnt hammer it at all - you could make your own bumoer shims with washers and see if they fit - the extra width may hurt you .

35x12.5 will rub on the front finder liner and possibly the body mount which you may need to chop and weld on plates. My 295/70/18 rubbed on the front finder liner but nothing a little heat gun and tennis ball couldn’t fix.
