Flowmaster 817664 American Thunder Cat Back Exhaust System 700042029952 | eBay

Have been reading about the pros and cons of going to dual exhaust.
Still undecided about upgrading and was wondering if anyone has this system and what they think of it.

I will be towing a trailer and understand that switching from single to dual will cause me to lose low end torque? How about an X pipe or H pipe?

    appreciate any input/feedback.

In my opinion, I would ditch the Flowmaster idea and talk to Keith @dirtydeeds. His systems are far more superior and better performing. I know this as I had a FM before I switched. He is also having a sale until the end of the month.

If you have stock exhaust manifolds on your truck, and no intention of running a set of long tube headers, dual exhaust will needlessly lose low end torque.

if you do decide to use long tube headers it’s not that much more money to do the exhaust right and go dual 3”.

We have over 100 options for a tundra. A phone call won’t be to ‘sell’ you something. It’ll be to make sore you’re getting the perfect set up for your entire situation.

^^^This. He sells an excellent product. He is a Tundra enthusiast, not a salesman.

Actually. No need to be. With over 100 options it’s just a matter of figuring out what works best, not just selling a single thing.

with prices that are competitive with anything that’s comparable, the parts we make literally sell themselves. Well, and past customers do too since we take care of people before anything else.

Well I'm convinced. I want a rumble, but no power or torque loss in any range. And I tow, so no drone. Sounds like DD with the single 10" is the way to go.

If you tow you might consider a 12, depending on how much weight and how often..
Give Keith a call and he will discuss your wants and needs.
He is great to work with.
