I see you have a need for some liquid refreshment after that trip. So is the trailer new? New to you? Any first impressions?

Haha I picked up some good IPAs on the journey. The trailer is a 2020 new to me.

First impressions was wow this is small but has everything we need and exactly what we were looking for. Sleeping on the dinette that converts to a bed was as comfortable as sleeping at home. AC will freeze you out if you want. It towed great and received tons of compliments from the big rigs at RV parks on the way back. Pretty happy with it so far!

@zia_tundra575, glad you made it home safely, but after all the talk in the thread, I was hoping for more detail on the performance from you. Were there any issues at all? Are you going to make any adjustments after your trip? Thanks!

Always wanted one of those...til kids came along. Now, a double wide trailer ain't enough. I'll wait till they all leave the nest then grab me a little bumper pull like the Casita.

Glad you made it back. Now, how do you like the trailer? I have been looking at the Egg style trailers for some time. It is between that and a tent trailer. I think I would prefer solid walls/roof.

    No comparison really!
I can stay dry and control the environment in the trailer!

There's enough work with setting up and tearing down a campsite that I wouldn't want to have to also crank my tent trailer up and down on top of all that. (Also, we camp places that you need a hard sided trailer is you're going to keep food in it.)

Yep, very excellent points! They are very hard to find on the West Coast/So Cal. Gotta keep an eagle eye out! Thanks

They are tough to find everywhere!
There is just no way to compare the travel between a ready to go room and Tent Camping.

I have stayed for weeks at a time in all sorts of weather all over the country without planning or warning countless numbers of trips.
I am on my 7th Egg I think and I just had 1 footitis until the 17' Casita but I have also had a couple of these and am happy with the one I am in now.

The Eggs are also really rugged and wear well without showing age like every stick built trailer that I have seen.
