You could make a replacement from checker plate for pretty cheap or use satin coat or black iron and powder coat it any color or even vynil wrap it with a custom design of some kind?

 

Done a few things since acquiring my "new to me" 21' Platinum:

• Swapped all interior/exterior bulbs to LED courtesy of VLEDs and Headlight Revolution (still need to do puddles/sidemarkers)
• installed the ESP rear underseat storage to fit my GATOR all weather mats (big thanks to @TampaRD Pro for the install help/confidence to cut into that factory carpet). Man, cutting that foam was tough with my linoleum knife!! Definitely recommend a powered option
• smoked 3rd brake/tail lights with vinyl wrap, OEM black overlays and tailgate stamp, window tint
• chrome delete of mirror caps with body colored caps from Sparks parts (see comparison shot)

A couple other QoL/appearance improvements that I don't have pictures of: Driver's side grab handle, wireless carplay with hidden module, OEM wireless charger (won't work for my iphone 13pro ), removed the previous owner's nasty window visors/rainguards, vehicle OCD center console organizer, black vinyl chrome delete of door handles

Coming up next: 12techvolts JBL amp add on + dash tweeter upgrades, anytime front/back camera, OEM LED bedlights, OEM tailgate lock...

If only I had the time...

Installed the Rhino Rack today!

 

295/70 STT Pro installed few weeks back, AJT in the fall.I do have his new steering wheel pieces & the door handle trim to install. That's likely a spring project now.

 

Finally got the snow tires mounted. Getting ready for snowpocalypse 22.

They are sitting in the garage waiting for the ceramic spray to cure. Not a real ceramic coating but it does make a huge difference.

 

That's a lot of tires!

 

Got me a little stubby antenna. I also got an LED light kit for the interior, cab, reverse lights. I'll install those as soon as it isn't so damn cold

 

hit a mileage milestone

 

Yeah- I love the pro rims so I bought a gently-used, second set with the tires.

The snow tires are Michelin X-Ice which are directional.

The plan is to reuse the stock tires off the 2nd set when my originals wear down.

 

Gave her a bath, shined her shoes.

 

Done today and yesterday:

Changed the oil, front/rear diff and trans case fluids.

Removed fender flares and had the wrap re-done

got a full clay bar and sealer detail done.

Love the vinyl work. Been thinking about something similar.

 

Finally received my RSB after ordering on Black Friday. Painted the hardware black. Haven’t drove it yet so can’t give a review yet.
