My dealer did not provide a copy. Stated it was in the glove compartment but is was not.

The Monroney sticker is required to be affixed to the side window or windshield of every new car sold in the United States and can only be removed by the consumer (Chapter 28, Sections 1231-1233, Title 15 of the United States Code).
Chapter 28, Sections 1231-1233, Title 15 of the United States Code mandates a fine of up to $1,000 per vehicle per offense for selling a new car without a Monroney decal. Illegally altered stickers result in additional legal penalties, including potential fines and jail time.

My sticker was not on the window. Called Toyota directly, they provided me with a copy BUT it is watermarked "Not Original Copy"

Anyone know what agency I could contact?

I was wondering the same thing when Mattress Discounters sold me a mattress without the 'Do Not Remove' tag.

I have no idea what government agency handles these types of matters.

I therefore subscribe to this thread out or curiosity. Good luck and God Bless!

Park the truck in a locked garage and don't drive it. Ever. You're on a list and they know it wasn't you that removed it but you're still in trouble. They're coming for you.

OP did get an official copy from Yota. I would have have asked the salesman why is there no sticker on the window? I personally would not have driven off the lot without it, but that's just me...

Just tell them to refund all the bogus add ons like phone charger cable, exterior paint sealant protection
, fabric protection on seat, and maybe the nitrogen in the tires and you will forget about the window sticker.

Exactly. I can see wanting to keep one as a momento and contacting Toyota if you need a copy. But OP's bolded words and asking "which agency to contact" suggests to me that's not their motive.

OP got a 'copy'...not the same. I don't know OP's motive, but I'm buying a new '22 and it's only the second 'new' vehicle that I've ever owned; I want the original sticker in place.

Mine is on the backside of my framed college degree because it's just as important and what would I do without it. Wondering if I should put it in the fire safe?

I think I still have mine somewhere. Now you're giving me ideas on how to increase my trucks value if I want to sell it.

    Ahhh so it’s a status thing……
I don’t have a degree framed nor a monopoly label from my used truck to frame either……

Doesn't have to be a college degree. It could be pasted to the back of the 8.5"x11" family photo at work. Once you get your 2022 Tundra, you can flip it over for all to see. :D

Exact opposite happened to me. Last new vehicle I bought I got the window sticker, but no vehicle! Called Toyota and they just sent me a picture of the vehicle. :goingcrazy::anonymous:

Yep, my salesman took it off and handed it to me along with my keys. Shook hands. Drove away. Pretty painless procedure.
