I'm sure this has been covered but searching did not give the results I need so I apologize in advance.

I'm wanting to replace the stock horns with some Hellas and need some help with the wiring. The "TunRex" has dual horns one of which has 2 wires and the other just 1. Can anyone advise me on wiring up the new Hellas? Thanks!

    It's good
I can only imagine the dual wiring has a hot and a ground, and the single wire is a hot and the chassis of the horn is the ground.

I'm sure you're right. The problem is that the wires (all 3) are only marked with silver dots. No stripe or different color to determine which is which. Ugh.

Most all the first Gen horns have 2 wires on left and one on right. Positive 12vdc from horn relay to left horn plug, second wire(+12vdc) from left horn plug goes over to right horn. Horns themselves get gnd from bolting to body. The Hellas I looked at have 2 terminals marked positive and neg.

Thanks. That helps a bit, but trying to figure which 2 are power may take some trial and error as the makings on all 3 wires are the same (2 silver dots).

Appears I failed in explaining properly. The 2 wires on the left horn plug are crimped together to a single terminal lug. One of those 2 wires comes from your horn relay and the other goes to the right horn, giving you pos of battery to both horns when you push steering wheel horn button. The negative(gnd of vehicle) the horns need is supplied by the attachment to truck body. If you have a volt/ohm meter you can prove this to yourself by unplugging left horn and right horn, put red lead of meter into connector, black lead to battery negative and push horn. You should see 12vdc. You can check for 12vdc at right horn by leaving both horns unplugged and stick your meters red lead in right horn connector, if your leads will reach.

BubbaW is saying that they’re all hot, like the diagram shows; on the horn with two wires 1 wire is the power from the relay, the other is essentially the same wire continuing to the other horn, they’re grounded through the mounting bolt and frame.
