It does not...let me see if I can find a picture off the internet...I am not currently able to take pictures. Something is up with my phone. I could try with my computer though. Here is something very close to what mine looks like-

Disconnect the tube and pull out the part which the tube was connected to, then try to blow through the part. You might need a flat head screw driver to help get the valve off the booster.

I pulled the hose off and there is a black tube...do I blow into the black tube or is there a piece that comes out for me to blow into?

Pull that black tube out or twist it out, then blow into it. You might need to use something like a screwdriver to pry it out. If I'm remembering right, it comes out pretty easily.

Blow into it on both sides, you should only be able to blow air through one of the sides.

Okay, I blew into it. I can only blow into one side...I think it's tight like it's supposed to be.

Alright cool, go ahead and re-install it and the hose, then I'd try following the troubleshooting from the manual above.

Would the guys working on brakes had in any reason to mess with the brake pedal return spring or is it worn out ?
If as you said you can pull it back up then it might be spring :notsure:

I had new brakes put on in December...and nothing was wrong with the brakes afterwards...reason for new brakes was because of both front rotors being warped. It did not have the problem when the shop had it in, and then I got it back and the problem developed. I don't know how it could have worn out the spring, as it worked fine when I dropped it off. I got it back and the pedal wouldn't come back up. I'm thinking that it could be the spring though as the shop was working under the dash (I presume) with their scanner. How easy is it to replace the spring?

First thing I'd do is do a visual inspection of the spring.

    Do you see it installed?
Is it attached at both ends?
When attached, if you push in the down no more than 1"-2", does it seem to act properly?
When detached, if you can easily detach it, does it appear stretched or worn?

If the answers here are YES, YES, YES and NO, then I doubt the spring is your issue.

I'll be honest, without actually seeing this w/my own eyes, I'm having a hard time visualizing and giving suggestions.

I doubt the spring is my issue. There is no issues with the pedal returning after 1-2 inches of travel. Here is a picture of the underside.907490A8-0809-447C-AC3A-405A35A3F33E.jpg

I'm not seeing the spring, am i blind or is it missing?I see it on e-brake, shouldn't it go into empty hole on upper brake pedal and back up in towards dash?
