I have a 2015 Toyota Tundra with a 6" suspension lift I've been looking into the 3" body lift interested in running it on my truck with the lift I want to see if any one has done this set and wanted to see some pics.

Good lord, what size tires are you trying to fit? Or is this more of a “I just want a lot of lift” scenario? So many have proven that we can fit up to a 37” tire with a set of quality UCAs and new coilovers set in the +3” lift range.

I know we all look at things differently, but 9” of lift on a Tundra is way too much. That is only my opinion.

Check your local laws, especially if you have state inspections. Many states have limits on how far above the road your bumpers can be, and you will not be able to pass state inspection if they exceed the limit. Doing such a thing to a half ton truck renders the vehicle useless to be used as a truck. Its cool, fine for a show truck but it would be a nightmare to daily drive. And forget about towing/hauling with that much lift and the size tires to go with it.

Reminds me of a friends cj7 back when I was a teen. Thing had a ton of lift, suspension and body combo and 38 inch tires, looked cool and was dangerous as hell to ride around in. Off roading in it felt like you were always going to tip or flip. It ate wheel bearings, driveshafts and steering parts like it was its job.

This tundra is lifted in the 10-12 inch range for reference.

Where is the dislike button at!!!

I almost daily drive mine with a 12” lift.

I had to get this license plate for fun too!

I have the amp research steps and have no problem getting in. I do have a folding step stool for those like my mom who are vertically challenged.

For being so high, the ride IMO is great!

I don’t go on the trails much, but I’m sure the size would limit me in the wooded mountains in VA.

    I get around 12mpg.

Do you drive in town? What size tires do you have? Do you go through brakes? How do dogs get in and out? I have so many questions.

I live in a fairly rural area. About 7 miles from home to work with a couple stop lights between.

Currently running 38x13.50x20 Toyo Open Country.

only had the truck for about 8 months. We’ll find out about brakes.

My younger male boxer has tried, unsuccessfully, to jump in the bed of the truck. Older female boxer definitely needs to be lifted.

Did you install the kit? How big of tires can you go with a 12" lift? I'm not gonna lie, I secretly like this.

I also have the bulletproof lift. Previous owner installed it. It’s a little long in the tooth now and probably needs a good sandblasting and powder coating. Previous owner spent some time on the beach.

They say 38’s are the largest, but with trimming and gearing you can get 40’s. I was told my truck had 40’s at one point. Still not sure if it was regeared tho.

my truck isn’t as clean as that, but I’m planning to use it to do truck things. Pulled a van out of the ditch last snow storm.

I would go bigger, although I’ve always stayed away from body lifts. But I think I’m already at the legal limit in my state.
