@RainMan_PNW, is it possible to use the Toyota push button Front/Rear camera switch, instead of the one in the kit, and if possible, any instructions would be great

I’m using it now, and it is great, I like the Tundra push button switches, if possible every switch I install, will have that factory look.

Can't say that I'm familiar with the switch you're referencing. Got a link?

    Gotcha.
I'm not really sure. It seems that someone I was chatting with a while back was trying to use a similar switch (maybe the same one) with the ABC harness, and ultimately the wiring is going in the opposite "direction" - it could be done but not with the illumination working. I don't recall all the details any more, it was a few months ago.

The switch you posted is basically two independent ON-OFF switches in one. So both the front and rear camera videos can be turned on at the same time. The OEM-style Switch I offer is an ON-OFF-ON rocker switch so only one camera can be selected at once. If you use your switch with the FRAC Harness and if both switch positions are on at the same time, you will get the rear camera display. The FRAC circuit is designed to resolve the two source conflict. I have no idea how the other harness will react to this condition.

It was probably me when I was wiring the on-off-auto switch to replace the Rigid rocker switch for the lights in my rear bumper. We were trying to figure out how to get the amber light to illuminate with the applicable switch position.

That's right. Different application. It's coming back to me now.

I'd need to look back through some of that to recall what I had figured out in that setup, and then mess around with the CH4x4 switch to compare. I know the issue we had with George's switch/setup was the position of the illumination ground vs the power source - the ABC switch is set up for a single common power input and separate power outputs (one for front and one for rear).

If someone wants to send me a CH4x4 two-position switch to test out, I'll be happy to get it figured out. :D

Lou - your setup is pretty sweet looking. If I were to be starting from scratch today, I'd definitely be looking at your setup. The ABC one works fine, but yours looks to be a bit cleaner is all...especially with the new switch (which, if I'm not mistaken, is the same one ABC uses?).
