Maybe @Baja Designs can chime in to help on a question that I can't get answered...

Trying to swing a deal on a new/old stock OnX6 "Hi-Power" light bar. Other than being a discontinued model that was replaced by the OnX6+, I can't find much...

What is the difference between a OnX6 High Power and the newer OnX6+? Assume lenses and bar sizes are same.

So the easiest way to think about it is that BD used to have the OnX6 and OnX6 Hi-Power. In order to minimize SKUs they moved to the OnX6+ which falls between the two (although it is closer to the Hi-Power in terms of raw output).

The other difference is that on 40"+ bars the Hi-Power used 2 separate power leads whereas the OnX6+ bars all use a single lead. BD harness 640119 has a splitter in it which should be able to support a 40"er if that's the length you're looking at.

Thanks for the response! If I understand it correctly, the Hi-Power provides more light than the current model OnX6+? That would be pretty sweet... I'm looking at a 30" if I can talk him out of it... It's just sitting on a shelf in his shop and I don't think it's got a plan. He already has a 30" OnX6+ on his RZR and a 40" on the U4 car. The spare will work perfectly in the slot above the license plate of my Tundra...

That is correct. It's not a life-changing amount, but it will be more.

    30" OnX6 Hi-Power: 34,950 raw lumens
    30" OnX6+: 31,910 raw lumens

Roger. It'll be a shitload and a little bit, compared to just a shitload.

    Thanks again for the responses.

Had to figure out where I recognized the name…. I finally talked my buddy out of the 30” OnX6-HiPower and you took my order for the brackets and a few other items. Thanks for the help Brock.

Brackets scheduled to arrive tomorrow, but the bar will sit for a week or so. Gotta wait till they get back from Sturgis to pick up the bar and harness.

    Well, horry chit that’s bright…

90 minutes start to finish, with only one beer break and just a couple times fishing a tiny nut out of hidden places.

I couldn’t be happier with the result, and I am 100% sold on both sPOD and Baja Designs gear.

Next on the list? I’ve got a Kubota tractor with crap headlights and a new Toro zero turn mower with as many lights as it has turns. Call me crazy, but I’m gonna order a pile of Squadrons with either work/scene lenses or wide cornering like my fogs. Thought about S1s for the size, but I’ve got plenty is of space and the cost is so close…

How do I add a photo via iPhone??? I’m not really stupid, but I’m scratching my head here.
