Is the iForce gauge the boost gauge and if so, shouldn’t it be showing something when the accelerator is pressed? I’ve never seen any indication at all on mine.

    Function before sparkle.
To clarify, you don't see the gauge move while in park or while driving?

You have to pay the $8 monthly subscription fee to Toyota in order to unlock the iForce Boost Gauge. :spending:

    Not a bit…don’t see a needle, a bar, nothing moving…just a blank gauge.

its the new software turbo fix TSB.

just turn them off and you don't have to worry about it.

Excelerate hard and boost should show. I don't see mine very oftern unless I get on the throttle. Also, via settings, you can change the right side of your screen to see boost, engine and tranny temp at the same time. There is a couple of different option to choose from. Pretty cool. :)

There’s a bar that goes around the outside, should be gray. Maybe somehow boost signal isn’t being transmitted on the CAN bus? Try accelerating strongly on the highway, it should boost up.

It would only move if you are making manifold pressure greater than 14.7 psi absolute. Which is probably only if you get on the gas pretty good. Otherwise, under normal cruising conditions, you are probably at or just below 14.7.

If it was a boost/vacuum gauge then it would be moving all the time.

Thanks all, more than likely I’ve just been babying it too much to make it register.

Noticed you've got your truck in Comfort mode, so that's likely. Throw it in Sport mode and then get on the gas. I bet it'll register there. If you don't see it register on your boost gauge...then you'll DEFINITELY see it register in your gas gauge. haha.

That little symbol is a turbo, so, yes, that is your boost gauge. If you are babying it and not getting into boost it won't move. If you get on it and it doesn't move then you might need to get the gauge looked at.

so let me understand from this pic.
Comfort (1) is for throttle response not suspension. So it is on easy does it.
There is no (2) turbo involved and (3) its getting 14.3 mpg ?
and its 81 degrees - wish I was there.

The truck only has about 250 miles on it plus a lot of time spent sitting in the driver’s seat with the engine idling while I was reading the Owners Manual trying to figure out all the features and info screens. And we’re in south Mississippi so with that 81 degree temperature comes a lot of humidity.

I'd much rather be in Southern Nevada too, 81 degrees.

I don’t give a shit about mpg , floor it and you should hear and feel the boost , if not take it into dealer and ask wtf

Update…mine works! Took the truck out and gunned it…gray band started running around the meter. Kinda wish it was brighter and more noticeable…

think of it as an inverse mpg gauge. The higher the band, the lower the mpg.

now ask yourself, do you really want to notice it?

Totally had a brain fart. My eyes saw "Comfort" but my brain registered it as "Eco" mode. haha

Try changing your right side guages to the bar style. You may like this better.

I tried that but switched back…when I go back to towing I probably will so I can monitor the transmission temperature.
