Having a hard time finding a set of 35x12.5x18 toyo AT3s or nitto ridge grapplers in anything besides a load range F. I assume with will ride much firmer? Any other cons?

Those are gonna be heavy AF, and ride like the flinsetonemobile

Certain tires are still tough to come by with all the supply chain shortages in the world right now. Might have to look at alternate tire brands.

I'm trying to not even go the E-range route due to stiffness and weight, so I would stay away from F load personally.

Load ID is bit old, the best way is look at Load Index, the one you describe is load index 128, with weight of 75lbs per tire, its not light but I don't think it'll be a terrible ride if you keep the tire pressure around high 30s (psi), FYI, I have skinny 35s with load index of 129, the ride is pretty normal.

Check out Yoko GO15's E. Great tires, quiet, heavy, stout, great all around traction (ice, snow, rocks, rain). Haven't pushed into deep mud, I stay outta that shit if possible. Not bad on the wallet either. They look better in person as well if that is any concern.

I wouldn't hesitate on the KO2's, been through a few sets and never had problems. Others say traction on wet surfaces isn't great. Never bothered me, IDK what else to say. Obviously your money, your choice!

    Too many, but not enough....
no issues in wet conditions for me with KO2 ever, though I live in the southwest so not alot of rain. I spend alot of time in the mountains and their ice performance is average I would say, but snow they are awesome.

I have Michelin Defender LTX M/S and absolutely love them. I had KO2s, AT3Ws and Nittos and by far, the Defender M/S are my favorite. Great road ride while being enough to handle trails. They absolutely were the best in Rain. Even though they arent 3-peak certified, they did phenomenal in the snow we get in VA / PA.

Ended up buying the ridge grapplers load f. Discount tires direct was awesome to work with and will use them again in the future. They gave me a great deal on them. I will see how they work out on the tundra and report back. Thanks for the help guys

Consider E if you’ll be off roading and airing down your tires.

300 hectares on single tank of kerosene
I moved to snow country after purchasing a new set of these and I was concerned I'd have to dish out another 1000 bucks for all terrains. Nope! The defender m/s is excellent for all road conditions. Very, very happy with these. I have 22,000 miles on them and they have negligible tread wear.

how have the tires been for you? Have the load F been an issue with ride quality?

Tire place actually swapped them out for free. Got toyo at3s in load d. I honestly don’t feel much of a difference in ride and mpg saved going to the d was minimal. I actually wish I had kept the grapplers I just think they look better.

Why did you swap out to the AT3?
What PSI were you running the Grapplers at?

I have Nokian load range E is used year round. I tow heavy and they are perfect for that. When I’m not towing I air down to 40 psi.
I’ve purchased 4 or so sets of bfg at for my toyota mini trucks and land cruisers and they were great, but my duramax at them up in a year. If you are towing or regularly have a load or if you drive hard I would not recommend them.

I'll most likely B U Y a set of Michelin Defenders next. Although their AT2's have served my well for 2 sets and 88,000 miles. My last 2 sets have been in size 285-65-18 with truck leveled for towing weight. Bilstein 5160's on 1st setting in front and 5100's on stock setting on the rear.
