    WTF is "orion tech"?

You're caught up! I think it's basically 1-2 pages for every day you're away. I'm gonna hate it when I've gotta travel this summer, 8-10 days with spotty or no time for internet. :D

Fixed up my rear doors on the Tacoma. Not the worst problem now that it’s fixed. I just didn’t click them all the way back in. I might still buy the black handles now that I know the drill on panel removal.

Orion tech is one of those Amazon sellers trying to look like a legit car parts manufacturer and seller but only carrying a product line of 10-20 rebranded chinesium items.

you mean that they are stiffer? That's ok with me. Seems easier to and cheaper than replacing leafs since mine aren't THAT bad lol... They really only get taxed when I tow a few times a year.

Offroad or in my use case driving through the ditch at the farm the wheels won’t travel as far because you have to keep some air in the bag or they can pop out. For 90% of people it’s a non issue

I am thinking about doing the same. What kits are you looking at? I hauled 20 bags of mulch and some other stuff today and am pretty sure I was bottoming out on bumps.

The firestone Ride Rite. It's only about $310 on big guuuuuurrrrl. You don't have to disassemble anything, BUT you do have to drill 4 holes for each bracket into the frame rail....

Got the new tires on. I may have over stuffed my wheel setup a tad. I haven't been able to test it enough to know my contact points. So far, front tire rear frame rub for sure. Nothing else, but I haven't really driven it. I may have to live with that frame business but we will see.

Hey all, well the UPS guy has a hernia from carrying Brake Discs, Shoes Drums & pads, as well as a myriad of simple parts....
    Lets get started.....

How many of you have looked in your 3rd Brake Light? Mine was melted & Burnt....

I did however find this metal tape with adhesive, so I tossed the bulbs, took a sharp chisel and removed the black stuffs... Then put the metal tape in.... top & bottom of all 3 socket reflectors needed tape. Replaced bulbs with LED's!

So far works great! Hopefully the stickum has longevity. I would love a virgin reflector Assy, but NLA!

    Looks great now!

Then, The drivers Seat Belt Receiver was bad. Belt would unbuckle itself when it felt like it....
Well that's NO BUENO!! So out it went!

    In went the new..

Also replaced the scratched heater knobs, no pics there, but do have a couple of spare knobs for 1st Gen if anybody needs one. @Shifty sent me one a while ago, time to pay forward!

Last note, everyone should have one of these! This particular one has been in two prior cars, saved my ass 3 times!

@KK6PD have a link to the seat belt latch?

i’ve been sitting on my belt all year. Held the button down so the little light didnt thwart my last inspection.

Finally got the proper color hood and camper on. It’s not perfect but it’s not sunroasted crap either, now the rest of the truck needs to be detailed desperately so we can really see how far off the colors are…and then the stupid camper trim at the bottom….then LBJs, outer tie rod ends, sway bar end links, valve cover gaskets and if that stops my (slow) oil leak steering rack bushings

I hauled 20 bags of mulch in the rain the other day with new stock springs and the Skyjacker +2" AAL. It drooped <1" and rode like there was nothing back there. It'd been raining for days, so the mulch was wet AF.

Thanks!! I actually like it too, I thought for sure it would be a bit goofy looking while I slowly do my TRD grill chop and swap, this is looking like its going to be a slow and interesting process.

Here’s a parking lot look at the 285/75/17 in there. Doesn’t show much but that the tire fills the hole quite a bit.

What lug nuts are you running? And do you have to use a special socket on them?

I hate the spline drive nuts I'm currently running.

I don’t know what type they are, other than they are right. Tire Rack sent them to me when I bought the wheels. I recently bought a single spare and did not get them. 3/4” hex head.
