There was a dealer in Iowa (possibly Idaho?) that mentioned having an unsold blueprint capstone allocation the other week. I’m guessing it sold now, but may be worth checking.

Check out Boardman Toyota. Border between Ohio & PA. they have a Capstone. I believe they are selling at msrp which is hard to find.

 

They have a surprising amount of Tundras available, unlock out here on the west coast.

Found your Capstone in Blueprint

I know. Wow! No matter what manufacturer you go with. $75k+ for a half ton is too much. I’d move to a super duty. That’s the same price I was quoted for a 2022 F250 platinum and 2022 F250 tremor lariat loaded.

20k over and sold. Pricing over MSRP ranges based on the time and what kind of deal is brought to the table but the Capstones will be over MSRP almost everywhere

 

nuts, and the capstone doesnt have much in way of fancy features above a 1794 or platinum.

 

And the 1794 and platinum hardly have features above a fully loaded limited. You get very little when you go up a trim compared to Ford/GM, which imo is good.

 

mostly creature comforts or quality of life improvements.

1. once you have had the 10 way seats with the leg extension, its kinda hard to go back to an 8 way seat.
2. memory seats are a big help between the spouse and me, makes a huge difference for us at least.
3. seat quality is a huge jump from the limited to the platinum/1794

its the wife daily driver so she is more concerned about those things than what most folks are looking for which the limited 90% fulfills the needs.

My limited has memory seats. Leg extension are meaningless to me, and besides that the seats are exactly the same in the 22’ besides the leather covering them.

 

I compare capstone vs my trd pro, the exact add on is not worth 4000 cad to me. Like HUD, 2nd row heated, larger rim, better interior finish, so on

 

On some level, the jump from limited to upper trims also has to consider preference for leather vs Softex. Personally, I’m actually on team softex. I’ve had it on my Tacoma for years and really like the way it feels, cleans up, and remains durable. I have no doubt the leather is nice, but I really like having the lower maintenance Softex in my truck.

 

Driving past dealer in League City Texas and saw a Capstone. Do not know if it is available though. I am sure they want a purdy penny,,, and tack on my finders fee of 5 dollar !!!!!
