Going to get new wheels and tires, 18’s with 35x12.5.

just curious if there’s any reason to go with one over the other? Wanting to stay around 20 offset to avoid bmc.

I am currently on a 3.5” lift with 18” FN wheels and some super noisy 285/75/18 geolander x-at

Other than style, they are both quality wheels. Either choice will be fine.

Ray10s are currently in stock and would go with them over Method or Icon.

SCS has a very nice wheel. If they made a 17” that fit the tundra (size I was looking for) they would be on my truck. But, seems like OP wants an 18 and I would give them a consideration also.

Method. I feel Icon current designs are not as good. Method bounced back with new designs with less fake bolts.
FN wheels are really nice, why not just new tires ?

Both Icon and Method are quality wheels. I was looking at getting the icon alloy rebound in bronze. But then i saw the method 312’s in bronze and went with those. What model wheels were you looking to get?

I agree, the 703 looks pretty slick. I would have bought them over the fake beads if they were out when I purchased my Method 305s.

Black Rhyno or Method. Or if you want to be like everyone else get the Ray10's. Or go full doushebag and get Rock Stars.

But in the end its your money so get what you like

Damn fellas, I’ve got Rockstars on my 2010 - didn’t realize that was an automatic ban from the cool kids table. I’ll get right on the Hail Marys.

I do have some Method 315s getting ready to go on my 2001 AC, so maybe that redeems me (?)

my wheels are in decent shape, but are about 7 years old, just wanting a different look. Plus, they are +12 offset, and in my opinion, are borderline sticking too far out with the 285’s.
Plus, with 35x12.5’s, seems I’d have to do bmc with that offset anyways

For a point of reference, the above picture is 35x12.50s on a 20x9 wheel with -12 offset. I did not need to do a BMC, but that is with 6” of lift. The amount of poke is personal preference, and only you can decide what you prefer in terms of aesthetics. Just food for thought. Definitely want to see whatever combo you finally go with.

I wish my truck was darker, i think bronze would look better, but with silver, I think it'll still look good.

Ill probably go with bronze 701's. I dont like the fake bead bolts, they look very cheesy and ruin the looks of a lot of good wheels, to me.

Tires will be toyo open country at'3

Correct. Since removed. (No knock on WKOR, the sticker just stood out a little too much for me.)

I avoid Icon anything. They’re willing to sell you parts, but not the instructions.

Methods all the way. I’ve had these since 2014. Moved them from my 2007 to my 2014 this year C51CBA24-993A-4D01-91AE-F3FF9D417B82.jpg
