Hey everyone I currently have the factory 275/55/20s on TSS wheels. I really want to run a true 33x12.50. Some say it will work and some so it won’t. Please let me know if anyone is running this set up or something very close , Thanks!!

I run 305/60r18. It’s a 33. Don’t know if it’s 12.5 wide but I have about a 1/4” of space between tire and upper control arm. No issues though. Hope that helps

I ran 35x11.5R20 on tss wheels…there are a few good options (Nitto/Toyo/Yokohama) as a “skinny’ 35” to avoid any contact issues with the uca or bmc need…I think you’re better off looking at that size or a 295/65 (35x11.6”)…definitely would not go wider than a 305/60 (35x12”), or you’ll likely have issues with the stock uca with the +50 offset on your tss wheels. You’ll also save some weight with a slightly narrower tire.

Tire comparison from what you have currently to a 35x11.5

Also re-read and realized you were looking at 33”…I also ran 285/60R20 (33x11.5) on my tss wheels

Awesome !! Thank you very much , I actually like that 285/60/20 looks very good, it’s doesn’t have to be 12.5 wide , I just like the look but know it’s not logical. I could deal with 11.5 wide though , it looks wider on a 20x9 anyways

I just purchased a set of new BFGoodrich KO3's in 295/65/20.. which is basically a skinny true 35" tire. Fits perfectly fine with no rubbing if you trim the fender liner and push it forward about an inch, then use a heatgun to shape the liner a bit (I used a football to push it in a bit). Other than that, I just had the bend the factor skidplate up a bit with some channel locks. No body mount chop needed. I'm running a 6112 in the front set to the top setting, a .25" shim on both sides. 5160's in the rear with a +3 coachbuilder shackle. Stock UCA. Gives a nice OEM+ look with just a smidge of poke.
