Anyone ever been successful in getting replacement lenses for Rigid lights. I have 2 that are pretty bad. I tried wet sanding them a couple of times but I think I need something more aggressive like a sanding wheel.

I don't think those spider cracks can be sanded out. Looks structural to me.

Put the other allen heads in and take the same picture. That light is not exposed to much direct UV, if that matters.

And if they don't send you new lenses, send them this post ^^^ and say really? Guys on the biggest Tundra forum think this is automatic.

They should send him new lenses.
    Rigid didn't send me shit.

I ditched my Rigid lights for Baja Designs.
Baja Designs are the ones sending me free stuff..

I got that. I just thought your post was really good. You've used Rigid and moved on to BD and they take care of you.
Rigid may care that their biggest competitor is focused on customer support. They may not.

No need, you nailed it and I was just trying to highlight that. And I know messages sent/received are often different. I didn't find you cunty. You were clarifying.
I've installed and used BD, DD, Morimoto and Cali Raised - (no real use on CR yet, but I know what I got). Never used Rigid. BD and DD all day long if you ask me.

I don’t see too many new rigid lights on the road these days. Most seem to have that hazy semi-black gel powder coat look to them. Gotta believe that DD entering into the off-road lighting market has taken a good chunk of their business.

I moved them over from my 2013 and bought a 2nd set when I swapped to an aftermarket bumper.

I got most of the cracks out. The hard part is trying to get a nice clear lens during restoration. The UV coating on Rigids is a really thin sheet that is applied during manufacturing. That is what was cracked.

I will email Rigid today and throw "competition" into the mix. I'll post a reply when they answer.

Let me know if you decide to sell...

Just my .02, rigid has held up their warranty with me several times but it's extremely inconvenient. I have to send the light back for them to replace the lenses and ship them back to me. I have to pay shipping there and they pay for it back so it's not really free.

Baja on the other hand has gone above and beyond for me. I have gotten numerous lenses replaced, I've gotten defective products before (happens with every company) and they are quick to send out the replacements even without me sending them the defective one first. They have even upgraded light bars for me before when I couldn't decide what I wanted.

I mean, we are not trying to cheat out of some small parts, but when something like this happens, it really speaks the volume when company/customer service is will to step up and back their product, or just say "too bad, sxxt luck guys"...

Has some minor pitting and imperfections but this is about as good as they will get. I sanded them with 600, 1500, 2000, and 2500. Then I polished with the Turtle Wax lens clarification polish from their kit. After the lens wipe application is cured, I'll put PPF on them.
