can’t wait to get home (in Europe for a few weeks) and get the fam out in nature with the new truck and Opus- best purchase we have made

 

Wonder if the stainless steel gas and brake pedal covers (instead of rubber) will be an accessory for other lower trim models? Are they rubber on the back and fit over the peddles?

are the beds pre wired for the bed lights on the 22's? do we know the part number yet?

I vaguely recall someone saying that they are not unless you option it. Don't quote me on that....

 

we havent yet, but will eventually! They do have a kit coming for the OP15 mount in the front, check out the opus Facebook group. My mount is “illegal”, but I don’t buy that they put a hitch mount back there for a recovery point…. Oh well, it’s one more than the tundra has

I have a CBI covert Bumper if anyone is local to Illinois and wants to meet up. Would sell for cost minus shipping and wait times.

 

I'm sure that will go quick considering how backlogged they are. 10-12 weeks for the Baja bumper right now.

Post that to one of the (many) FB groups and I'm sure it'll go quickly.

Do you have a good side shot so can see how low they hang ? Also the slim how are they for stepping up on into the truck ? Mainly for kids.

 

You want low? Go with the D1 from Go-Rhino...

 

I dont want it low. I like something that hides the brackets and pinch weld under the cab. Like the look of the RB20 just wanted to see a really good low angle side shot.

 

which models come with a bed mat? Waiting on my platinum, eta next week, was just about to order an aftermarket mat

 

none come with a bed mat. It is a $120 accessory.

 

That isn't the case in Canada. TRD Pro, Platinum, Capstone, and 1794 trucks come with a mat.

thank for this. Having said that, seeing pics here of the flimsy toyota mat that doesn't sit flat vs the black armour mat that looks like 1/2 steel sheet, the best seems to be sell the OEM here to the sr/limited group and buy a black armour

 

I have had the OEM bed mat in every Tacoma I have owned and love it. It’s heavy as hell. Putting oem also in my 22 tundra.

 

Got some accessories installed... and updated the build thread finally!

 

Agreed…just put mine in yesterday and it’s far from flimsy. Also sits flat once it’s unrolled and allowed to regain it’s normal (flat) shape.

 

I hope, would save me some money. Maybe these pics are deceiving?

Installed mine Wednesday night... It looked like the first pic you linked to... By 7:30 the next morning, it was flattened and I had no flapping issues on my hour drive to the dealership...

I will say the second one linked looks like a much tighter overall fit than the OEM one...

 

That wrap color is so hawt, HHHHHNNNNNNNGGGHHHH

 

yeh if i sit mine in bed of truck in the sun its perfect usually in a cpl of hours. I love the OEM cover. I have had a new one in each of my DEMO's and now will have one in my 2022 crewmax tundra.
