That's exactly the same year and color as mine, except mine is not nearly as shiny. Enjoy!

Let’s see a pic! I’d love to see what other Cruisers we have on the forum.

I see @Fotnot lingering around this thread a bit. Can still get a premium for the Pro Sequoia and pick up a LC :boink:

We sat in a TRD Pro and Platinum Sequoias - the base LC is on another level even with its outdated HU.

I just love how planted/heavy they feel when you drive them. Feels like you’re one with the road

we don't see LC's around here or on the lots around us. plus, there's less room for all the kids i keep having. if i keep it up, i'll have to upgrade the sequoia a bit....

They definitely have less cargo space but ours actually seats more than the sequoias we were looking at or her old Denali XL.

yea if you get the 8 seat configuration. i couldn't run that anyway with all the car seats/boosters. i was getting close to trading in for an XL Yukon, but opted to stay with my yota. now that i got the shields for my cats....wife said can't trade in for a yukon no more lol

That’s a win in itself. I’ve had 4 vehicles on the platform and hopefully there won’t be a fifth. The funny part, they all have weird issues the experts claim to be caused by something else. Last one had an electric fan issue and the dealer said it was circuit board under fuse panel, forums said it is coolant temp sensor, local GM mechanic says ground cable. So I have to pick who I think is right and start throwing money at fans that won’t shut off… or buy a Yota.

Took it out the other night for its first run in the dirt. Reminded me a little bit of driving my FJ Cruiser in the dirt - feels like it’s where the vehicle is meant to be.

Its definitely a pig - curb weight, payload, and GVWR all exceed the Tundra ratings.

My Son's "new" ride, picked it up in Ohio couple of days back. 1999 LC with 240K miles on it. Surprisingly rust free.

My son decided to strength test the front fender with the side by side roll cage - we found out the fender crumples and the roll cage is unaffected. :frusty: It was too painful to take damage pics… thankfully just the one panel. All fixed.

He had friends with him. I had gone to the gas station. When I got back, his friends were going for a walk around the block and he was sitting in the drivers seat of the side by side definitely in a state of distress.

No more Suburbans or Yukons for us. Sick of the issues. I seem to go back and forth every day whether I want to replace our Yukon with a Limited Sequoia (2nd gen) or an LX. I like the 2nd row captains chairs, more space, and 2hi option of the Sequoia, but the LX/LC just seems like the most solid, go anywhere platform.

Haven’t done much other than put miles on it. I did swap a squeaky belt and did a coolant drain/fill around 100k miles and put front brake pads on around 95k. Just did spark plugs at 105k.

It’s not bad at all. The front and rear ones on the passenger side require you to move some wiring / AC lines / brackets but it’s all pretty straightforward. Swivel extension and magnetic spark plug socket are must have items. It’s not more than a couple hours being meticulous about it.
