I'm curious if anyone has Hybrid yet? Curious of what you think about it.

They told me 20th of this month. Then said he usually tell customers first of following month. Starting to think longer. But, really don't matter. Just waiting.

Love the bronze wheels. I think it would look even better if you were able to bronze the emblem. My honest opinion of course!

What kind of mpg does the hybrid get in the real world? I saw another thread saying that they got 18 mpg……the tradeoff hardly seems worth it as I get 16 on average with my 2019.

I went by Toyota place today. They said it is expected to be shipped on 07/19. We will see.

Had my hybrid for a week now. Just did my first fill up today. ~450 miles, 18.8 MPG combined with a 60/40 city/highway mix. This is a stock Pro, so I’d say add another mile or two per gallon for a different trim. Driving experience has been incredible so far, and we’ll see if the mileage changes as it breaks in. I’m certainly more than pleased with 18 so far. Can’t complain as that’s slightly better than the average I got with my Tacoma.

I think it’s disingenuous to suggest fuel savings as a reason to upgrade. May be a tangential benefit if someone buys a new truck for other reasons or just likes it, but this really won’t save you money at the end of the day or save the planet. This is still a primarily gas, 6000 pound half-ton truck at the end of the day. Not winning any points with eco-warriors.

I really don't have fuel savings in mind. Would just like to get same mileage as my 2017 Tacoma does.

I have company truck drive other five days out of week.

It came in Monday. Going drive it Saturday morning for hour and half or so. Really wanting like this truck. If I buy it. Will not happen till July 5th. Finance guy is on vacation. Give couples days after I drive it to make up my mind.

I picked up my Hybrid nearly three weeks ago. I've put just over 2000 miles in that time. I love it.

The Hybrid isn't designed with mileage in mind, it is for the extra power and torque.

Well drove it to house and back about 50 miles round trip. Got home with it showed 19.1. Reset and drove it back. Pulled on dealer lot. It said 22.5. That was babying it in Eco mode whole trip.

stock V8 is not too bad either (17-18 mpg roughly ), it's when you start adding lift/ 35"s..etc..then the mpg takes a dump not matter what.

My stock V8 gets nowhere near that kind of mileage. More like 15-16 on the highway, no lift, no larger than stock tires, no mods.

So far I love it ! Very Torquey. So far city/mixed I’m at 19mpg. 21/23 on highway speeds at 70-80 ish very easy on the throttle. Still very very new

Very nice! I put a deposit down with a dealership for something just like this. They said I might get one before the end of the year.

I'm still debating to keep the hybrid engine or not. Looking forward to hearing about your opinions on your truck!

I haven’t driven the non hybrid. I think it’s maybe a few mpgs difference if that. I don’t notice any lag
