I’m looking at Goodyear duratracs 285/75r18 for my Tundra with 1.9” lift in front. Anyone running these ? Clearance issues ?

I'm running Cooper discover's in that size and with my 3" lift I only had rubbing on the front bumper. I used 2 sets of bumper shims from coachbuilder and that fixed it. I also have aftermarket UCAs so I couldn't tell you if stock ones would have an issue.

I have bumper shims sitting ready to be installed. I’m running +40 wheels as well so the UCA clearance gains me +20mm over stock. Are yours on stock wheels ?

how close are you to the cab mount? I'm stuck between sticking with 285/70 18 or bumping up to these next set...

that’s what I’m wondering. I see conflicting reports on needing BMC or not.

I have a very similar setup to @TucsonTundra1794 besides the bumper shims and I just have a slight bit of rubbing at full turn, bumper shims should fix that though. My wheels are +18 methods

I didn’t need any BMC as well (SPC UCA’s helped with that ), only thing I had to do was remove mud flaps

Tons of pics and info of folks running that size all over this site. Search 285/75 and you should get a bunch of hits. Works well with the stock +60 and much easier to fit than 35/1250 tires.

Lose front air flaps, may need bumper shim, may need removal of mud flap and potential to trim wings off stock skid plate if your truck has one. Perfect tires size on a tundra, big and beefy, good ground clearance and less performance impact than 35x1250s.

2” lift will clear 285/75/18 all day on factory offset. May have to remove mud flaps like others said, but that should be it.

AR201. One of the only close to factory offsets I could find. I didn’t want 1”-2” of tread poking out and screwing the sides of my truck up with stone chips

Perfect size for maximizing sidewall and not having to chop up or otherwise modify your truck. I’m running a fully OEM setup except for the tires. All I did was remove the little flaps in front of the front wheels.

285/75/18 Toyo OC3… MCM/ADS kit, I did the BMC more for future, no front flaps, factory front bumper. I like the pizza cutter look, no rubs. Great tire size!(came from 295’s)
