Washed and waxed it this morning. Of course that made the rain come. We’ve had a lot of rain and I’ve been spraying ants around the house. When washing I had a swarm of ants on the left fender. Opening the hood noticed ants on the core support radiator and traveling down the upper radiator hose. Is there anything on our trucks that is appealing to ants? They appear to be carrying tiny white specks of something.

Gave the 4Kanines front seat cover its maiden voyage today. Fit is great, install/takedown is quick. Seemingly Durable enough so far.

Great buy for $40 or whatever it was. USA company I believe too (produced overseas though I think). Veteran and rescue supporters. Good company

Can't answer if there is anything appealing to ants in our trucks, mice is a different story with the wires.

But I can be the bearer of bad news and most likely suggest what you see them carrying is their eggs. If what you're seeing looks like little pieces of rice than that is probably most likely what you're seeing. Good luck resolving your ant issue.

That's weird... The only thing I can think of is that dogs (for example) are attracted to anti-freeze, supposedly there is something in it that is sweet/treat-like to them. Maybe ants are the same :notsure: But, you'd think if that was the case we'd all have similar issues. Did you double check inside the cab to make sure they are not just climbing through the wirewall and grabbing food crumbs or something from the inside. Little PITAs!!!

So when it’s pretty rainy here the ants migrate into my mailbox, w the little white things (eggs). They’re trying to get to higher ground is all. Nothing in your truck is attracting them unless you left a butterscotch candy under the hood. As soon as you move the truck or it dries up they’ll disappear.

Link for the jug? Someone on the forum was just talking about something like this for accurate oil measurements.

These daily driver mods are kinda lame and yet, I’m still excited about them. Behold, the grocery holder.

For those that don't know, there are little notches on the sides of the bed. I cut a 2x8 to 66.25" long and it drops right in.

Keep trying to follow the trail, it should leads to the "nest" where the Queen is located. Spraying is much more effective if you can spray as close to the nest as possible because the poison is more likely to spread to the Queen. If they are trying to move into your truck see if you can find where they are beginning from. My wife is a master at this. She literally leads the bug guy around our yard to spray nests she has traced the trail back to. Otherwise just heavy spray on the trail you can see and that might discourage them somewhat. Good Luck!

I use a bayer ant bait you can get off Amazon depending on what state you’re in. The trick is to use very little and let the ants “find” it. If you sprinkle it in their path they won’t touch it. They bring it into nest ant it wipes it out.
