I pretty much keep my fishing rods in the back of my truck all summer. I am looking at getting either a box for the roof of my camper shell or something to keep them in where they aren't just sitting in the back. What are you guys using to store your rods in a crewmax camper shell?

Just saw this and I know it’s old, but here it goes.
    Inside:
I used the hard sleeve fly rod holders and throw them in my decked system, but they’ll easily fit anywhere and you can even strap them to the rail system.
The downside is Rods have to be broken down. my rods are 10’ long.
A lot of regular spinning rods obviously under 6’ can be mounted under the roof by basically using bungees tied into the nut of bolts if you have a track system mounted on your shell.
Another option is to use t-nuts and mount these to the bedroom for a horizontal configuration.

outside: I’m now running a TRXSTLE rod carrier on top of my GFC, which I also used on my A.R.E. Shell.
    Some others
    Riversmith
    Yakima
Big Sky Rod Vault ( probably the most secure, nicest carrier; but also pricey and you need a ladder or something to get them up and out.
