Grill replacement??

Is it possible to replace the standard grill of the 2011 SR5 double cab with the chrome grill of the limited model?
From what I've been able to find..it isn't..I don't think anyway. Seems like they should be the same size ,but something must be different. Bolt pattern?

 

Yes -you can swap any grill combo you like - they are all the same size

 

Yup. I believe as long as it’s from a 2010-2013 it’ll fit. 2007-2009 grills utilize different brackets so won’t work without swapping that as well

If you’re planning to buy a whole new grill, I might be willing to take the old one off your hands.

 

So...for what I have been able to see...when ordering from anywhere that I have found..the fitments are NOT all the same. Every place that I have looked at says it depends if it has the " Rock Warrior or Sport pkg" or if does NOT ...so...I'm confused

I just bought a truck TODAY.
...2011 Double cab SR5. Nautical blue graphite cloth interior 4WD. 102k miles.
Pretty nice truck...Now...if I can change the grill to the limited version..is still questionable???

 

And..
How do I know if I have the Rock warrior or Sports pkg???
By calling a dealer and giving them the VIN # ?

 

I replaced the black grill and surround on my 2011 SR5 with the satin grill with chrome surround (the Limited grille). I ordered mine from Cool Springs Toyota (53100-0C250 Grille Assembly) - I verified fitment with Roman on this forum prior to ordering from him. It was a direct bolt-on replacement. I feel like it fits the truck’s appearance better than the black grille and have zero regrets.

I believe the Rock Warrior trim/grille is nothing more than a color-matched surround.

 

any grille from 2010-2013 will fit. Doesn’t matter if rock warrior or not. They put that bc some had chrome grille surround while others had color matched. Also the limited had different insert than other models. So yes grilles are different for the different models, but will all bolt on the same.

I put a Rock Warrior grill on my Platinum and it fit like a glove

 

Here’s mine. If you want a chrome insert, I had a guy getting rid of one locally.
