Mounting bass control knob

Where are you guys mounting bass control knobs that look like this?

 

Mine is a lot smaller and put it on the right side if steering wheel where the nanny switches are. I have the two switches for the seats in the card holder area.

 

Mine is down by the tpms button. Easy reach with a small lean forward. Sticky velcro.

 

Same here. Double sided tape near the TPMS button. @Tundra234 I know that depending on the brand and how it's made, some installers actually take the inside component out of the box and are able to flush mount it almost anywhere. Mine was not suitable for this method.

 

Yes I saw a few like that. Mine is a Rockford Fosgate so I don't know how it's built inside.

 

Could mount upright on a flat surface with easy access? Just drill a hole

 

I put mine in the map pocket in the center console so I'm the only one who knows it's there and so they don't mess with it.

 

When I bought the rear window relocation wire and the three switch panel that goes below the shifter, I took apart the JBL subwoofer amp bass control knob and epoxy'd the electronics to the back of a blank, and put that in the slot the rear window switch used to be.

 

I'm out of blanks but I'll take it apart and see what it looks like and go from there.

 

I prefer to mount a bass like this...




Crap. Wrong bass. I have mine mounted inside the center console.

 

Got some more touching up to do plus waiting on my usb type c charger replacement to plug above my remote knob in the opening.

Mounted flush is the Epicenter remote and the left is the remote for the Down4Sound JP95

 

Went ahead and moved my amp remote when I installed the fast charger
