Parked my dirty ass next to a new Tremor. Nice truck, and I'm glad to hear that Ford is making major moves to curb warranty work and build reliable vehicles. While it would be nice to have some of the Tremor package features, I would still make the same choice today. :headbang:

I sometimes carpool with a gent who has an F150 Tremor. It’s an extremely nice truck with a nice ride. It’s equipped far better than my SR5 admittedly. I don’t like debt though. So that’s a deal breaker for me.

I am doing this. Seems like a nice, cheap alternative to dropping a grand on a head unit like I want to.

I don't like the way they look. Not aggressive enough and the "Tremor" nomenclature is a mediocre one at best.

I read too much at other forums and have too many family members who put up with Ford in order to drive “the #1 selling truck in America”. That’s the dealbreaker for me.

Haha what's up man? I'm the owner of S.O.B. Fab and also the guy that "twisted your arm". Thanks for the order. I can't wait to see it on your truck.

Just fyi, we did some more "product testing" today and we think you'll be happy. This was one of 4 trucks rescued on our drive.

Haha you read my mind regarding the winch mount strength. I am already looking into my powder coat or LineX options. Sold my previous bumper so the longer it takes for me to get er done, the longer I'll be sans bumper runnin down the road :anonymous:

Which winch do yall have mounted to it?

P.S. Wife already asked a bunch of questions lol

The winch mount is solid. It's essentially the same center section of bumper that we've been producing for a couple years with no issues. We now have an additional plate that supports the bumper more too. I'll attach a photo.

We are running a Warn VR12s in ours but they will fit almost anything. @n0rth is running a Come Up slim line 12 and had to relocate the control box due to the position of the controller plug.

What is even included in a “Tremor”? Looks lame but maybe those orange stripes add power?

Sadly, I think it might be the Bezos-mart knock-off sensors. But $90 for all 6 instead of $150 EACH was too good not to give a try.

@RainMan_PNW - are you saying you can add BSM to a truck not equipped with it?

Also diagnosed why my AC stopped blowing cold. Hardline in the driver side wheel well was rubbing on the long travel bypass hoop.

New line ordered and I’ll sleeve it and replace it. Go long travel they said it’ll be fun they said lol

BSM - yes. I’ve had it added to my truck for quite a while (1-1/2 years). Details are in my build thread linked in my signature.

Nope. Been through the full set of options in techstream. Nothing in there related to Sonar.
The parking sonar requires a different instrument cluster to even show up on the screen (which I’ve got). The only thing left is that the sensors are not OEM

Do you also have to add the modules at back of truck? When I was rear ended, they had to replace a $1200 module and then get it programmed by a mobile tech that specializes in calibrating BSM for like $600.

BSM and Sonar are two separate systems with separate sensors and controls. BSM does have a calibration process in techstream.

And yes, I’ve got sensors wired into the rear bumper. That was why I re-ran the wiring harness from the engine bay to the back of the truck.

By Sonar are you referring to proximity sensors?
