I just installed my painted bumper ends, but now I can't decide whether to paint the fender flares blue to match the truck or leave them black. What do you guys think?

Survey says 100% blk right now. Looks good to me. If you were running color match handles and mirror I would paint but the combo looks tight as is.

I am in line (since 06/05) for the pro grill. I might plasti dip the grill in the meantime. And I literally just now decided I am going to order blue mirror caps.

Leave them black and go with the black grill. Then it'll be black and blue all over! A body shop guy said that painting them can turn into a can of worms and then you have to worry about scratching them. But I've seen a couple blue tundras with matching flares and that looks really good to. I'd leave em black for now and think about a while. Once you paint them there's no going back.

That looks damn good. I was going for the blue and black look, but the black flares may be too much black. I wonder if I will be able to salvage the weather stripping if I pull them off to be painted?

Sigh. I agree. I have spent a lot of $$$ in hopes of having a blazing blue trd pro look, and the pro grille is the last piece of the puzzle. I have wanted a blue trd pro for years now, and once I finally learned toyota never had plans to do a blue pro in the future, I decided to just try to make one myself. After hearing the pro grille news, I guess I need a plan B, or pay up the ass for one...

I had the chrome grille off a few days ago while I was changing the bumper ends out. The truck almost looks better with no grille than a chrome grille.

Funny how most are saying leave them black but in voting that nearly 66% voted paint them.

Mine are color matched and I love them that way.

The blue looks awesome and the black contrast pops blue even more. You will find the TRD grill just have to keep looking. I say put the TRD grille on and put a blue sticker on Toyota logo (available at EBay) and it's gonna look really nice. Very hard to find this color.
