Doing research on key fob and I understand there's a process to get it programmed without going to the stealership. I'm the new owner of a beautiful 03, 4WD, AC and last owner did not have a keyfob. Would any of the keyfob on Amazon work for the truck? If I got a keyfob from the last owner then I would know the FCC ID, but unfortunately.. nothing.

Here's the information from Toyota regarding the truck

To add onto this as I continue researching on the key fob situation, I do not have a security immobilizer that has the GB microphone.

That should be attached to your pedal, and not anything to do with keyless entry. RS3200 brain is inside the dash, back and left of the radio IIRC from the FSM.

Did you find the links in that thread to the RS3200 and RS3000 manuals, which have programming instructions? Did you try to enter programming for RS3200 to see if that's what system you have? If you can follow the instructions in that RS3200 PDF, and it enters programming mode, you know that's what you've got. It took me a couple of tries to get it right. The steps aren't intuitive. If you have RS3000, you'll find the module in the RS3000 key fob post that thread linked to.

Did you sign up at the Toyota Owners website @ https://www.toyota.com/owners to assign the truck to yourself, download your build sheet, and see what it says about keyless/security as advised in that thread? You'll also find dealership maintenance records and recall status.

Does your dash have a security/glass break mic in this location? Or have a blank here? I think the last year for RS3000 was 2002, and all the vehicles with RS3200 for keyless/alarm come with this dash configuration in RC/AC, a rectangular blank or mic here, but not 100% on that.

I did find the links that threads to the RS3200 and RS3000 manuals. Did not attempt any of the programming.. yet. Don't know why I didn't think about doing the programming mode to determine system.

Yes, I signed up on the Toyota Owner website. Only thing the build sheet mentions is the VP Convenient package.

No security/glass break mic in that location. It is just blanked.

If it's blanked, I'm pretty sure it'll be the RS3200 brain, you just don't have the glass break sensor, which you can ultimately add-on if you wanted. That blank is the exact size for TVIP (Toyota vehicle intrusion protection) RS3200 glass break microphone. Why would it have the rectangle the size of the RS3200 mic, if it didn't have the RS3200 keyless entry brain? (at least, that's my logic)

I tried this week to dig in the FSM to find the exact brain location for RS3200 , but came up empty, other than this picture (below, look for the "TVIP ECU"). I know it doesn't help. One of the threads linked in that informational post points to a 7+ page thread on RS3000, and it shows where the RS3000 brain is. If you don't have the RS3000 brain, and your dash has a blank in that spot, I'd try entering programming for RS3200 a few times, and if you get into it, you'll (A) know you have the RS3200, (B) already know how to program a new remote, (C) know which FCC ID of remote to get, which I can give you the # for if you need it.

Be sure to follow directions to clear out all old remotes before trying to program a new one. The system only holds 4 remotes, and if full, you can't add anymore until you specifically clear all other remotes out.

RS3200 brain confirmed. Did the clear previous remote method and it unlock/lock 5 times so it worked.

Will need a link for the fob if you have it on standby.

I'm in a similar boat, just purchased a 2003 Access Cab. No FOBs, Toyota owners website won't bring anything up probably because I'm in Canada. What's my next option to figuring it out?

VIN if someone else can possibly find it on their account 5TBBT44123S425126 it's a T3 edition.
