Spacers and blocks. Any kind of battery (not tied into the trucks electrical) operated extra.

I wish I'd known enough to put a strip of 3M on the tailgate before getting a canopy.

Kind of wondering if I should have gone with the 3" Helliwig rear sway bar instead of the 2" OEM one.

Me too with the canopy. I ended up adding a 1" strip (25mm) of LineX to the top of the tailgate.

I love using the Tow/Haul button on occasion. Like on ramps to a highway going 80+mph.

I had one for a year then saw the Project Farm video testing them and was like wow they are terrible for the motor (don’t filter small particles). Wix or OEM is the way to go. My supercharger came with a new airbox and a KN and went right into the garbage. Yeah they may increase airflow slightly at the expense of not doing their job.

I modified my driver side rear body panel by turning my camper too sharp when backing. I'd like to have that one back.

I did that to my passenger side with a piece of junk trailer. Lots of people watching; no one tells me I'm jackknifing the trailer. :( and clearly I couldn't tell either!!

Bingo! No way I could justify deleting my spare (or carrying it in the bed) for air horns.

    That being said...

No way would I sacrifice my auxiliary tranny cooler for too much horn. If one trumpet doesn't get the job done, I will resort to the steering wheel and the skinny pedal!:D

Yeah, I wouldn't sacrifice a transmission cooler for air horns either. Unfortunately for me (and everyone else post 2019), I didn't have one to sacrifice anyway. If I ever get around to adding one it's just four sheet metal screws to remove the entire bracket, multiple horns and all.

Too much horn? Never heard of such a thing. :eek2: That's like saying too much money, too much horsepower, too loud of pipes on my Harleys, too much time spent browsing Tundras.com. ;)

Four trumpets are required for the train "note", sounds perfectly obnoxious.

The steering wheel and skinny pedal aren't much use when you've been sitting in traffic at a turn lane or red light for five minutes and the dipshit in front of you is busy texting away and hesitates just long enough for them to get through the light but not you. If I used the skinny pedal for that I might scratch the powder coat on that expensive C4 Fab front bumper! Better to let them have 154 decibles of train note for a second or two. Royally pisses them off, but that's ok with me.

Not sure what you have invested there, but a good HD Hayden tranny cooler with the factory thermostat adapter, fluid and hardlines cost me around $450 or so. Like you I did DIY brackets. Hopefully it will increase the lifespan of the tranny enough that it will basically pay for itself or might even save me a few grand. In my neck of the woods, a train horn would likely leave me with a vandalized truck, or possibly something worse. Don't care to spend my time or money on either one. Hopefully you travel in a different setting and can have fun without any hesitation.

I'm waiting for all the burned up transmission threads to appear. There has to be lots of folks with well over 100k miles on their 2019 by now. I tow an RV but mine only has about 27k so I failed as the guinea pig. Still TBD if the added cooler is a waste of time and $ IMO. I suppose it's worth it if it provides folks peace of mind. I still also have two years warranty left and could extend it farther I suppose.

That's a damn good price. Way cheaper than I've seen others going for on here. I could go for one at that price. Pisses me off that it's not on there already as it was in prior MY 2.5 gens. I only occasionally tow a light 3 up dirt bike trailer, a single bike Kendon trailer for my Harleys, and a light 6 up trailer for my kayaks. It's pretty flat around here but I do monitor the AT temps when I travel or tow.
I live in Flori-duh, believe me anything could happen here, too. I believe the horns are for judicious use, only when absolutely necessary (to me). Just like my EDC, there if I should ever REALLY need IT. I'm not some kid on YouTube riding around scaring people at the mall for laughs. But I hear ya, there are a lot of crazy people out there.

For now I have to keep an eye on the temps with this.

Where is your compressor and tank, manifold etc? I have the new Stealth STDK in mine....Its nice having everything together. I don't mind having the spare in the bed as mine is empty most of the time.

I read that it was suggested to install by none other than a Toyota engineer who didn't agree with the removal. That combined with the fact that the manufacturer's engineers designed it to be run with the auxiliary cooler was good enough reason for me because I keep vehicles for decades when possible. Next up is going to be an electric fan to cool while moving slowly as well. Not everyone will work there truck like I will either. As for warranty, I cringe at the thought of a dealership tech wrenching on anything nowadays. Just my 02 though.

3 gallon tank under passenger side rocker panel. SDHQ mount at the firewall for the ARB Twin compressor. Custom manifold mount for my take on a modified "Wifey" air distribution system to the wheel wells and rear bumper.

Yeah, that wouldn't work for me as we camp with the RTT and carry our gear in the bed.
