What is the going rate for like new TRD pro takeoffs (2021) with a set of also like new Michelin ltx at2 275/65/18’s? I can’t find good pricing other than new in box wheels alone which seem to be all over the board from $450-$800 a wheel. Looking at a deal about two hours from me priced at $2,500. Comes with tpms and lug nuts at that price. Seems like a decent deal? TIA

Seems high to me. You should be able to get new for that price.
I know I got a great deal, but I bought 4 PRO wheels/tires and the FOX Suspension plus extras in like new condition (with about 6000 miles on it) for $1700.
He wanted $1500 for the wheels and tires alone at first.

it honestly depends who is selling them. i've seen FB marketplace have them for $1000 with everything you've mentioned. I've seen $1000 for just the wheels. depends on condition and how bad you want them. i personally would pass at that price.
also just a simple FYI...it's not much of a difference....but the "PRO" wheels will have PRO on the wheel like located here....

Bergy that is an insane deal! How do I find something like that?!?? I’m willing to be patient for the right deal, just wording the classifieds and my local CO page on here plus fb marketplace.

Thanks you guys for the responses. I’ll just pass on this set I doubt he’s going to take an offer at half his asking price..

Pass. He's/she's trying to recoup 80-90% of the cost of his/her new setup. A good deal is $1000-1500 for just the wheels, $2k for wheels and tires that have <500 miles on them

you'd be surprised! make an offer. worst they do is say no. if the tires are in decent shape, check the pricing on tires and compare...especially if you plan to use them. tires are expensive. i've heard people make offers and land them. the seller basically listed a price having no clue what it was worth sometimes and the buyer can get a good (or awesome) deal. having factory tpms is a nice plus considering the price of those too

Good point. Maybe I’ll shoot him an offer for $1200. The tires aren’t the size I’m wanting to run (saving/planning on 6112/5160’s so I’d like to bump to 285/70/18’s on those wheels). I know they are good tires I ran them on my third Gen ram and loved them but not what I’m looking to spend my coin on.

unless you plan on reselling or using, don't factor that into your pricing then (just my opinion)

Best he would go was 2k with no tires or TPMS so I said no thanks. After surfing the wheels/tires ads I think I can do better if I am patient but looks like they are selling for anywhere from $1,500-$2,000 sometimes bare wheels some with tires!

Depends on where you are. You can get 35 sets in SoCal every day of the week for about $5 but up here in Canada they may as well be unobtanium. You will pay and pay an pay if you want a set. Then you get to pay the government duties and taxes. And the thieving shipping company wants to roger you for collecting it (I drove to the airport and self-cleared and gave two middle finders to the d-bag shipping company and even paying for gas saved a fortune from the extortionist @*#&'s.)

Check out my experience here. I fell into it at just the right time, but almost lost the deal.

    @Fotnot thanks! Am now following.

@1lowlife thanks for that as well. $2k seems decently fair for brand new takeoffs with new tread. I may be expecting too much to get them for $1,200 bare wheels, or $1,500 with tires. wouldn’t kill me to drive them with oem tires for a year or two..

    Decisions decisions!

Funny thing is, I have not installed the suspension yet. But it looks pretty sitting in my mancave, LOL.
Hopefully this spring I can get it installed.
To add to the story, I found out that there was no TPMS sensors. Not a big deal since they wouldn't work anyway.

I would look to trying to find new takeoffs ( less than 500 miles) for less than $2k with tires too. Thats not a terrible deal for either party. Drive the wheels and tires. When you're ready/ saved up enough for suspension do that and install the newer tires on the new suspension. :notsure:

@bergy looks like a PITA to install but I will be doing my own when I finally have the dough to justify buying coilovers, those fox's will look really sharp on your already nice looking TRD conversion.

@PermaFrostTRD I hope you are right my friend. I just aged the tires on the particular setup I was offering on and they were MFG'd in April of 2019.. I bumped my offer to $1,600 for the whole shebang and he wouldn't even counter-offer. I guess he must think he is sitting on a one of a kind setup LOL.

Cutting my losses on this set and moving on to the next!

I believe they're now available to order. But I think they were only available for the LC. I think they'd pop nicely on the Lunar too!

Gentlemen. I just came across these: what I am assuming are TRD off road wheels off a '21. Supposedly 10k mi on the set, not the tires I want but would be good tread for a while. These are the same as the old style pro wheels correct? I like the look of them and would swap with some TRD center caps. but $1k seems too rich for what they are no? Am I getting my expectations too high for finding a deal? Should I hit him up for some better pics and try to offer maybe $800 even though he says he's firm on price? Would rather have the new pro style but would also be down for a good deal on these.

the tires seem to be in good shape (should be with only 10k miles) and i can see he prob took the TPMS out. you can always try to sell the tires, but would prob only get around $250-$500 for them from what i've been seeing around me locally for the same tires. I've seen that setup or close to it being sold for around $850 and was on FB marketplace for a couple weeks i think before i quit looking at it. so if you sold the tires, you could be around $400 for the wheels. not bad. if you want the tires, thats not bad still...but i'd be around $800 as well if I were you.
if you're not liking the wheels that much, don't force yourself to get them. also keep in mind if you're selling your wheels and tires you currently have, you can recover a bit.

ask for more pics. ask if he is including center caps, TPMS, lug nuts, etc. I find the more stuff they have to say they aren't providing, they more inclined they are to drop the price a bit. just a thought. keep us updated. i always like to see how these pan out and what worked/didn't work in the bargaining process. hell, if needed, i can text him and offer him lower than what you're offering just to make him consider yours since he's getting lower offers. :p:spy:

These are standard non-PRO wheels, he just had them painted.

$800, firm - haha. Those are the TRD off-road wheels powder coated or factory coated all black. As others have indicated, $1000 is a little high. Especially without TPMS, etc. It definitely looks like they've been removed as the bead of the tires has slipped indicating the tires have been off the wheel. Ask about the coating/paint on them too. Def not the 15-17 "pro" wheel as those would have the red TRD caps with them, and he'd be indicating them as such in the listing.

From what I can tell, those are the Trail Edition "Nightshade" wheels that I think were only offered in 2021. They're basically the standard TRD off road wheels with a different factory finish.
