What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

What deal is this that you speak of?

 

Most all of the Toyota dealer parts websites have a banner across the top advertising free shipping over $75 order (up to $200 discount) with code FREESHIP. Unfortunately, their shipping costs are outrageous. For example, they want $300 to $400 to ship a TRDPRO skid plate (I ended up ordering the RCI skid).

 

Look at Baja designs or diode dynamics ss3 for your fog lights. I did the DD and they’re incredible

 

What kind of shape are your OEM mounts in? Do you notice a difference with the new ones in?

 

I have only driven about 10 miles home half freeway and half surface streets. On start up and lane change accelerations did not notice the normal engine bay "pull" nor have I noticed any additional frame vibration. Stock mounts 30800 (perhaps 300-500 miles are desert and mtn trail offroad) miles look good. I will be cleaning the dirt off and posting pictures of them on my build page.

RCI is nicer quality imo

 

I replaced my DD 12" with a 20" because of my heavy towing. I'm amazed at how good his build quality, and I'm beyond thrilled with it so far. Still throaty, but much more "friendly" inside the cab.

Shorter video is the 12" and longer is the new 20". Much more tame inside but still very much not stock. I'm excited to tow with it just based on my highway trip today.

Went and got it dirty again today. Tried to do some jeep trails which didn’t work out lol. Apparently 90+ width and narrow trees wasn’t happening. After the narrow forest runs we hit dunes and the beach. Played with bypass tube turns. Overall good day glad no bedsides were lost lol

Swapped rims back to TRD pro with the LC center caps

Do you have a closer up picture of the BBS wheels with landcruiser center cap? I'm debating on swapping out the TRD center cap for the LC one, bit I can't make up my mind.

 

Picked up my 1st Toyota a couple of weeks ago. Installed Bilstiens front and rear, pro wheels and grill.

 

What trim level is that? It looks like it was partially debadged.

 

It was set st the 1.9 setting. But I'm going to take it apart and do the max setting next month.
