After 4 long grueling days dealership hopping. We pulled the trigger today on 2023 Tundra Crewmax 1794 Edition! It has the TRD off road package. Silver with saddle interior. I added a black bull bar for safety and black running boards. Picking it up Friday if God wants and all goes as planned. Can't wait.

Here's our 2023 build date Nov 11, 2022, identical to your descriptionmessages_0 - 2023-02-04T131540.930.jpg . You'll love yours :) (I changed the tires to Cooper AT3 4s, and other mods that cannot be seen in this picture).

Part # or make/model? Keeping an eye out for one that doesn't block the OEM fogs

When I pick it up I will ask dealer the part number etc. I had to make sure it didn’t block sensors. Sunrise Toyota on Long Island was amazing. We went there 3 days in a row. I made sure it was dealer installed so if there’s any hiccups it’s their problem.

Love the green and saw a silver on the road the other day for the first time - looked great. Mine = Black and had it over a year now. Great truck.

Don’t forget to lift it! :militarypress:

Black Horse is the brand. Somehow it doesn't block sensors. I imagine it won't block lights. Friday afternoon will tell.

Here is a question for you 1794 fellers…. Do you know how the 1794 got its name and came about without googling?

I googled it, I was curious why 1794?

I recall something to do with a Ranch founded in 1794 in Texas.

Very close, the Ranch that Toyota currently sits on is the 1794 Ranch. Thus to pay homage the 1794 was christened.

Factory that builds all 1794 sits on the same land that the 1794 ranch originated on. I know that because I ordered a ………1794

This assembly plant was originally a Texas ranch that was founded in 1794. As a result, Toyota is commemorating the Texas ranch by creating a special edition of the Tundra to pay homage to the original location of the assembly plant.

That army green was our first choice. But the dealer called with a CC allocation and we thought that was good enough. I'm liking it more and more putting CC as my second choice overall now. Congrats on the army green :)

Congrats on the truck. I basically have the same one (minus the bull bar). Just got my tires in which are Toyo OC AT III's 275/65/20 (just over 34 inches). Called my dealer again yesterday letting them know I'd sign whatever they want just so they can leave my fog lights alone when they install the TRD lift. He said he'd check with the GM. He also said they are supposed to remove the lights and return to the customer. I wonder if they have to just do that or disable them via the computer? If they just have to unplug/remove them, then I can re-install once I get home. I've seen a few leveled Tundra's and to me, they look ten times better than the factory look.

Congrats and welcome to the 1794 off-road club! FYI that bull bar is going to do more damage than good in an accident, might want to have them take it off pre delivery!

Agreed. Cheaper bull bars / brush guards are nicknamed "Damage Multipliers." Unless it's attached to a bumper that includes a frame tie-in...I wouldn't bother with one.
