Had a little bit of an issue with the weboost bouncing around up there.
    https://youtube.com/shorts/hFOjDWw_JZQ?feature=share
I half expected this to happen given its position and orientation. The play doesn’t seem to be coming from the plastic gears as I expected but from something inside the housing. Also doesn’t help that it’s situated right above the fairing so any wind coming over gets directed right at it. This was the solution I came up with and it seems to have worked. Zero movement in the stowed position at 75. The antenna wiggles a tiny bit (you can wiggle by hand) in the upright position but I’m confident that has to do with a tiny bit of play between the threaded part of the shaft and where the nut bottoms out. I thought I had put enough washers on there to take up the slack but didn’t. Didn’t feel like pulling the whole cable back through the nut and motor unit just to gain another 1/16th of an inch.

Got my front license plate mounted today.
Probably should have just left it off. Originally tried an M5 rivnut but it wouldn’t hold. So mistakenly went with the old bolt and nyloc route. After getting the first bolt started there was no turning back or I was living with a dangling license plate. You can see from the first photo that I dropped two washers and a nyloc. From the second photo you can see on the far left how rounded over my winch mounting bolts are (given the length of supplied warn bolts they couldn’t make the turn into the hole without help from a BFH). In the back you can see the remnants of black gorilla tape that held the top left license plate M4 nut and washer. Took me a good 25 mins to get 7mm wrench free from the tape. Got two on and called it good.

Two takeaways from today. 1) If I ever need to service my winch those holes will be plasma’ed and made bigger to easily get those bolts out and 2) if I were to win the lottery I would have a nut and bolt supplier show up weekly to restock so I always have the proper nut/bolt for the job. That.. in addition to having a new pair of socks every day. 7C5545A4-2264-4BB2-B0BA-FF02147F6192.jpg2F00B99F-DDDD-4062-A619-CECF0732F6B4.jpg

Spent my lunch break in the parking lot of an industrial hardware store getting the proper hardware and raising the fridge slide. Something I didn’t account for was the aluminum supports bending around the bed ridges when everything was tightened down. Everything seems pretty tight and secure but I’m going to keep an eye on it.
    25DE78D3-5010-4B91-8B49-061AE9AECE07.jpg 67530BB7-4BDB-4CD7-B9AC-719E9D9BE4D0.jpg
haven’t tested (or measured) to see if my fridge will clear the cover or if the slide will clear the MH but hoping it will on both accounts.

In other news, my 2 y/o daughter walked into my bumper last night. Luckily, there was no damage to the bumper. Daughter is ok, got a little bump on her head and tiny cut. She’s tough; she’ll be alright.

In all seriousness though, I did have that concern when installing my bumper. It sits proud of the fenders and obviously the tow hooks protrude out too. Will have to have a chat with the kids today about it. Had an incident when I was a kid where my cousin did something similar and split his hand completely open on a bumper.

HF small pelican case should be arriving today so I can install my water pump into it. Here are the parts that have arrived thus far for my hot shower system. Need Ironman to have a sale so I can purchase my water tank.5FB6F3EA-062B-4AA2-8F2C-687EDE4ABADD.jpg9D9540AC-722F-4582-AF79-D85BD25106CF.jpg20CE3DFF-3CC2-456B-89DE-470232015E76.jpg

How many gallons is your water tank going to be?
Do you have a mount for the small lp tank?

13g’s. And thanks for asking this. Logged onto Ironman and saw it was on sale. Picked it up!

and just going to mount a quick fist to the bed wall currently is my plan. We’ll see how well it holds. Can’t remember if it was @des2mtn or someone else who suggested this.

You have any suggestions for a mount @SAGE63

I haven't used Quick Fists, but I've had this PowerTank mount bookmarked for awhile https://www.amazon.com/Power-Tank-BKT-2285-Propane-diamater/dp/B004M9KX52

    https://powertank.com/products/bkt-2285

Wouldn't be hard to replicate this if you've got the tools I'd think

Started the install of the water pump. Waiting on the tank to plumb everything up. Still trying to figure out the quick connects and make it so the shower head can quick connect to the pump, but also quick connect to the water heater which would quick connect to the pump.6247C6C3-DF07-4F07-8C76-765295E7A286.jpgCE494EA4-49AF-4F98-8F80-DEE4CFD4809D.jpg0945CD5E-ECCE-4E63-BB01-DF307255B4A5.jpg

Received these badass stickers today thanks to @TRDFerguson !
    276142A3-D088-4F04-BEB1-1403CCCACBA3.jpg
plan is to use the solar power sticker to use for a connect/disconnect switch for the dc-dc mppt. Got to thinking and may also use the inverter sticker to control a relay for so it doesn’t parasitic drain my aux battery. Hasn’t been an issue yet but never know. Thanks again, Jake!

Got a little more work done today. Was able to figure out how to mount the water tank, got the pump all plumbed up to the spigot thing, wire in the pump, and ran two legs of 16-2 from the switchpro to passenger side rack. These will serve as: comm neg., rack lights left, rack lights right, chase lights.

hope to do a dry run of the shower system tomorrow.

If you’re not putting wires into those open ports in that 4-way connector at the pump, make sure you get solid plugs for them.
    Looking good so far!

Camp lights are pretty much wired up. Just need to tie them into the SP under the hood. Hopefully will be fairly easy with one leg for switches 5(left),7(right) connecting to the rack lights and the other leg going to the bed rack. Pump is all plumbed up but need to go into my electrical sub panel and connect the circuit (I think). I flipped the switch after wiring up the pump and didn’t hear anything. Maybe because there wasn’t any water to the pump. I know they’re automatic pumps but figured I would have heard at least a click. Hope to get it sorted tomorrow. I also had to retake the first photo because I forgot to put in the buttplugs like I told @RainMan_PNW i would. Put them in and resnapped the photo.

Mounted a quick fist to hold my propane tank. Does a good job keeping it to the wall, but doesn’t prevent it from flipping up when going over a bump. Going to put a D-ring on that bed bolt. Put a bungee through the top of the tank to the D ring should hopefully prevent the flip up

Yup, pretty much wasted space. Easy to remove everything quickly if needed using rivnuts. Hope to get the jack tucked in nicely behind the fridge. We will see..

Yup. I used 10-24’s. They’re pretty small to begin with and after collapsing I’d bet they don’t stick out more than 1/4”

edit: could also pop the top off yours and retract it just to be sure. Only thing is if you pop the top off you’ll probably ruin those little black plugs. Could swing by and and grab you 4 more if needed.

Check the build link in my signature.
I need to pop mine off anyway. Pretty sure my drain holes are partially plugged and need to clean them out. I did it every couple years with my previous one. I also need to mess around with test fitting the Voodoo rack brackets with the TCUSA cover
