I have oil leaking from the oil filter area. I removed the oil filter, the 2 bolts and the nut, with stud. I still cannot get it off. I've seen instructions, but mine had a bracket that has a bolt and a nutted stud. I put a picture of the assembly. Any suggestions ?

No help. I have the 3 empty bolt holes. Are there more?
I've read the thread and still can't figure out how to get to the shotgun seal.

No help. Are you saying that in all these videos that they removed the air compressor bracket and did say to do it. In the videos I've seen there were two bolts and one nutted stud. I've removed them, Are there more?

in reading further, I read that you need to loosen the air compressor, but no instructions on that. I will keep looking to find what all must be done. It would be NICE to not have to research several different threads to do something that would otherwise be simple. Working through it...
Nobody speaks of the mounting bracket for the oil filter adapter, but mine has one.

It would be. But we have this little problem. People choose to create new threads for themselves, instead of searching/replying on old ones, which would keep all the info on the topic in one place. Kinda like you did here. No offense intended, just highlighting exactly how we get to this place ... you're basically creating the environment that you expressed also irks you

Your best bet is to tag @adanielfish and ask him how he got around it, while the info is still fresh in his mind, as he clearly requested in the other thread we've both linked. It sounds like he had essentially the same problem as you.

Thanks for the idea of contacting, but TUNDRAS.com says "The specified member cannot be found. Please enter a member's entire name" when I ask to find @adanielfish.
I set a new thread because I still have not seen anything that speaks of the bracket that had a nutted stud and a bolt, still haven't.
P378k. I guess I'll see if changing the o-ring in the adapter will stop the oil leak. Cheapest remedy first. If not, then it must be the shotgun seal.

Well, you should check the thread we linked above, your answer is at the end of the thread now, I tagged him on your behalf and had him centralize the info over there.

For anyone still reading this, the last connection for the oil cooler mounting plate is on the inside of the oil pan. You would have to disconnect and jack the engine up, allowing you the space to remove the bottom oil pan, then remove the middle baffle pan, real PITA,, from outside you can replace washer, large o ring and figure 8 gasket

    No. This is wrong.

I replaced both the big o-ring (oil cooler, 90301-67004) and the figure 8 o-ring (oil cooler to block adapter, 15692-50020) on my 04 DC and most certainly did not jack up the engine or remove the lower oil pan  Replacing these o-rings isn't a lot of fun, but it's not nearly as involved as you suggest. The hidden nut is behind the A/C compressor. Loosen the compressor and you can access the hidden bolt. Most of the videos for this repair are NOT in a DC Tundra and this is not needed. For some reason the DC Tundra A/C compressor is configured a bit differently than other 2UZ equipped vehicles.

I do not know if the A/C compressor is in the way on an AC or RC Tundra.

I'm looking to tackle this job this weekend. When you say "loosen the compressor", does that mean to remove the compressor from the mounting bracket, or is there a way to loosen it enough without removing from the bracket to get to the last bolt?

That is a trick question. There is a bracket that needs to be removed. After that you will need to remove a few of the compressor bolts so that you move it to access the hidden nut for the oil filter adapter. Once you crawl under the truck and start taking things apart it will be pretty obvious what needs to happen.
