    Function before sparkle.
I did. No regrets and I was able to pick up a rotisserie chicken and toilet paper at the same time.

Lots of tests have been done on it. Very similar properties and results compared to a brand like Mobil1.

Just did my oil change with the Kirkland brand. WAY cheaper than Mobil 1 and from everything I can gather is an exact equivalent.

    AWESOME.

next up….Where’s the go to place/website for OEM filter /self oil change kit?

When I first got the truck I ran numbers with Mobil 1, cost and a kit and it came out just under what my dealership charges ($140)

but this is a game changer

I use it all of my Toyotas, and have for years. It meets all of Mr. T's requirements and costs far less than the name brands, so why not?

    Too many, but not enough....
Project farm did a oil comparison on it. It's equivalent to mobil 1 essentially and better than some others.

Kirkland, Walmart Supertech and the Amazon brand have all been proven to be decent budget oil choices. I've contemplated going with the Kirkland, but have stuck with Mobil 1. Also if you do buy mobil 1 don't buy it at Costco it's actually cheaper at Walmart.

I usually find M1 on sale at our hardware store, but you have to get it quickly when it does.. my Lexus takes 5w30.. I was thinking of just switching the truck to 5w30 as well.. been reading through the switch to 5w30 thread quite a bit and it seems to run quieter, for what it’s worth. I have a 97’ CRV that I use in the winter primarily and it runs 5w30 as well.. next time I’m at costco I’ll probably pick up some Kirkland oil.. give it a shot

Agree with that. I too pick up M1 oil from Walmart as it always seems to be the cheapest there.

Was $30/case last month. The price has increased slowly since Costco started selling it, as with everything else in today's market.

And identical to each other, which is hardly surprising as they are all blended by the same company. In fact, if you don't recognize the name of your oil manufacturer as being one of the well known oil producers then there's a good likelihood that it's been made by Warren Distrubution.
