I have a 2006 that has keyless entry. I just got one FOB when I purchased the vehicle from an individual. Fast forward to a few weeks ago and someone I let borrow my truck(mom) lost my only FOB.

I'm pretty sure it was factory but I don't know.

Steps to find out what I had and what I need to replace and reprogram?

    Read this thread.

Follow the links in the 2nd or 3rd paragraph to the keyless entry programming docs.

Get new fob with correct FCC ID. See "Electrical stuff ... and keys" section of that thread.

Use RS3200 instructions to program remote.

Quick search turns all this up.

Hey, I upgraded my key fob to an all-in-one (link below). Programmed it myself, make sure you use the double cab programming, found the video on youtube. Access cab is different.

Program it before you have the key cut.

I've seen mixed feedback on this, with some DC guys saying what's in the RS3200 manual works.

I've seen the video process you speak of, which actually seems closer to what you follow if your truck is equipped with the SECURIKEY+ system, which is a dealer port.

I'd love to understand the difference. I don't think they made multiple RS3200 sysems. This may actually be the difference of chipped key vs. non-chipped key (immobilizer key, which not all DC have, but all Sequoia are supposed to)
