My USAA checking account Debit card also acts like a Visa so if I’m using it, I’ll use it as a Visa. Maybe your bank has something like that?

Yea maybe. I had a checking account through Union Bank but they where taken over by US Bank just a few days ago. The debit card is a Mastercard. I have no idea what their policies are in that regard. About a year ago I noticed about $1700.00 in charges for some Microsoft products that I didn't buy and took it to the bank (Union) and they looked into it and reversed the charges and put the money back into my account. But I have no idea how something like this that is 5 going on 6 months old. I suppose I will just have to go find out.

I am sorry for the lengthy lead times, lack of communication and the irritation that comes with this. I have been struggling with things in my personal life and my mental health. I am making an effort to get back to work, I have ALOT of plates I need to ship and I will ship all orders.

Tyler, thanks for posting. I know it took some courage after being criticized so much. I pray your personal issues are improving and that you see the light at the end of the tunnel. As active and helpful as you were with these plates early on, I know it has been very much out of character for you to go radio silent for so long.

This. As much crap as we like to give, your stuff was/is quality, and no one likes to see someone fail. (Or if they do, the focus of their frustration isn't the issue.) Hopefully things get better for you soon and everything improves both on the personal and the business front. :)

@Classy63 what is a realistic timeframe for you to ship out a TRD Pro Skid Nut Plate with corresponding 2 pentagon bolts?

That's all fine and well but what time frame are we talking about here? I don't know what's going on in your personal life it's none of my business but I would like some idea as to when I can expect my plates. Do you have them? Are they ready to ship? If they have yet to be fabricated I would choose to be refunded instead of waiting another 5 months. So please be a little more specific. My order number is R254006345 I'm sorry if you are having problems in your life but we all have problems that we have to deal with.

Man you are stirred up over this, a part for a pick up. LOL If people are unhappy just request your money back or have some patience like an adult.

I’m not stirred up at all. I made an obvious joke using obvious hyperbole and you got offended.
For what it’s worth, people ARE unhappy and HAVE requested their money back and HAVE had patience…but the guy goes radio silent with hundreds of dollars of each persons money. You absolutely can’t defend his business practices or simultaneously say that the people who invested hundreds into his products and got nothing in return need to be more patient. Not sure where you’re coming from here, but you have me misunderstood as being serious when I’m making a joke that is meant to playfully poke at the OP.

What a moronic thing to say

"A part for a pick up" = Depending on what you order, everyone is spending anywhere from $250-$800 for their plates. This isnt a shift knob people are waiting 6+ months for.

"just request your money back" = Did you miss the part where Tyler has been MIA since making this thread in January, and people are having to dispute through paypal to get their money back? Begging for updates on their refund or their order?

This very thread was made in January by Tyler saying he wanted to "mend relationships", only to do the same thing again to people whom have orders with him. People have every right to be upset about their "pick-up part". Stop being obtuse.

People have gotten their money back

If you can't hold out on $800 for awhile you probably shouldn't be buying pickup parts

I didn't say people shouldn't be upset, just have some patience

And who is slow to understand ???

Well shit. I myself have been MIA on here for a while, but I found this thread because I’ve been planning on ordering plates from this guy and I am ready to pull the trigger on them. Guess I’ll learn from others’ experiences and shop elsewhere.

If you are smart you will.

If you can not deliver you shouldn't offer. Plain and simple. Tyler is running a business he needs to treat it like one. I don't know what $800 is to you but it ain't chump change to me. My order is quickly coming up on 6 months where my patience comes to an abrupt halt and I will seek remedy through the courts and I will put leans on his property. It will get nasty. From what I can tell anyone can still order plates from his web site as of right now. The man needs to shut down his site until he can fulfil the outstanding orders he already has. If he is so busy that he can't keep up with the work load then either trim the work load or hire some help.

I run a business where I am the only employ because I need qualified help and that is in short supply these days so I have to be carful with the jobs I take on. I have to be up front and honest with my clients before I take a dime from them. If I am currently busy on a job that is taking up all of my time I tell any prospective clients that if they want me to do their job it will be x amount of time before my schedule will be clear this way there is no confusion as to when I can get to it. But when I do I deliver. I don't take their money and disappear.

Do they offer plates to fit a 4" stage one Pro Comp lift kit? The one reason I chose to go with Valhalla's Shield is because Tyler offered plates that will fit my truck with that lift kit. All of the other companies offering cat shields and skid plates only have them for stock trucks and trucks that have under 4" of lift that don't have any modifications to the frame or after market cross members. These plates won't work on my truck and I don't really have the tools necessary to modify them. If I did I would just make them myself. So if anyone knows of a shop that offers shields that will bolt up to my truck with a 4 " stage one Pro Comp lift kit let me know. I'm giving Tyler till the end of this month to get me my plates or I'm going to take him to court over it. In which time I will be needing to find plates that fit my truck. I'm kind of thinking that I will need to find a local fabricator and have them made. Hopefully I don't get my cats stolen in the mean time.

So Tyler. I hope you read this dude and understand that I am very serious when I say that if I don't have my plates in my hot little hands by the end of this month, that would be April 1 (April fools day) I will be forced to take you to court over it. I would highly recommend that you respond to this personally. Reach out to me. You can reply here or by E-mail or PM if you don't want it being public. You can even use smoke signals. What ever it takes. The fact that I don't have my shields after 5 months is frustrating enough but it is your lack of communication that is really pissing me off.

I waited, I think, around 6 months for mine. Yeah, I pinged him once in awhile, I knew the situation he was in. It fucking came, that’s all that mattered to me. He ain’t trying to steal your money. Worth the wait in my opinion cuz shit underneath my truck needs to be beefy enough to handle the shit I put it through - and to deter to those idiots.

A lot of my frustration could be defused with a simple E-mail. An open line of communication goes a long way. I have no idea what situation he is in or what kind of situation would cause him to be unable to be forthright with his customers. I understand that during and right after the "pandemic" things where tough with the break down of supply chains and all. But that isn't the case anymore. Steal and aluminum plate is not hard to obtain now. I have no idea if he makes these things himself or has them made, maybe over sea's. I don't know. All I know is that it doesn't take 6 months to ship from China and it sure as hell doesn't take 6 months to ship from Texas. Yea I hope to be pleasantly surprised at the quality of the shields that I received but I need to receive them in order for that to happen. That being said they can be the best shields out there and because of the (lack of) service I will never recommend them.

Protecting the bits under the truck from damage and thieving low life's are the two reasons I purchased the shields to begin with but for the last five months I have gone without.
