I know that there are hundreds of posts regarding leveling kits that are available on these trucks but I have struggled to find information regarding these kits and their ride quality versus stock and versus each other. I'm only looking to level the truck out and possibly add 1" to the rear coils to keep just a slight rake.

These are the 4 options that I've narrowed my options down to. Any feedback is most appreciated!

    Dobinson 2" Front + 1" Rear Kit

Rough Country Vertex Front 2" Leveling Coilovers

    Icon Stage 1 Leveling Kit

    Icon Stage 3 Leveling Kit

Oem tonneau, side steps, spray in liner. Trd skidplate.
If you want ride quality, stay with a small leveling kit, or go with quality coilovers. Stay away from load range e tires. It will ride like factory intended.

Leveling kit doesn’t affect ride quality on road, I did a 2.5 supreme suspension leveling kit with 35x12.5 r20 load range e Toyo tires inflated to 30 psi and it rides like factory. Only issue with leveling kit is that your shock will bottom out before your bump stops so keep that in mind when off-roading or add taller bump stops in the front.

This is great feedback. Thank you all! I keep finding myself leaning towards the Dobinson kit but the shop that offers the Icon kits has been much more responsive and easier to work with so far.

I’d go Icon over dobinsons but I’d recommend getting new upper control arms so you can gain more travel and higher caster for better alignment adjustments. I used to have icon on my Tacoma and it was night and day difference over stock especially off-road.
