    Good day everyone,

    I just wanted to push this out there in the Tundra community. I've been developing a cat plate for the 3rd generation Tundra up here in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and am ready to get these units out into the market. At this time, I just have the non-hybrid version available and will have the hybrid version and an option for the 2nd generation Tundra in short order.

    These plates are made out of 3/16" aluminum, have ventilation holes to provide cooling for the cats, provide excellent coverage and come with security bolts for installation. The plate is also compatible with the factory TRD skid plate with minor modification (bending the little tab towards the rear of the plate). The price for the plate is $550 CAD plus shipping. For those folks located locally within Edmonton or Alberta area and can make it to Edmonton, I can offer free installation.

    I've personally experienced the annoyance of having my catalytic converters stolen and wanted to become part of the solution and provide another option to protect folks.

    I understand that there are other options out here in the community and I certainly appreciate the work everyone has done to create awareness and I would just like to jump in and help as well.

    Found this news article, mentions a couple times that the Tundra is one of the most targeted vehicles for catalytic converter theft, specifically due to the amount of the precious metals (rhodium, platinum and palladium) that are used for the emissions control.

    I've got plenty of stock ready to ship for the non-hybrid and hoping to have the hybrid plates ready to go shortly!
