That was a big gripe of mine. Zero fasteners or anything for the bumper cover tabs. And I figured it’s just completely pointless to reach out to VS about it.

Panel poppers are a dime a dozen at your nearest automotive supply store, I'd just grab whatever fits and call it a day otherwise.

I didn't do anything. You can't see it unless you get down real low. I planned to zip tie them, but they don't make any noise or anything, so I didn't bother. I remember reading Tyler quit welding nuts on the top because it could/was contacting the radiator or something like that.

I tried to use the existing inserts but they broke when I tried to remove them, I went with self tapping screws on the outside holes.

I quit adding hardware and welding nuts because they were coming in contact giant the radiator support.

There are 3 way to go about this

    1. (my preferred way) sandwich the tabs between the radiator support and the front skid plate. No hardware needed, just stuff them in there when the plate is loosely installed.

    2. Cut them off, they have no structural value.

    3. Attempt to bolt them

Don’t waste your time with this guy and all his shenanigans, order from Talon’s garage and have your CAT Shield picked up same day in houston or shipped in one day guaranteed.

Why give an unprofessional liar with bad history another chance after so many failed attempts, go with a proven professional business and be done with it.

Tyler, go find something else to do

Tyler, you are going to catch some flak for some time and I hope you are prepared for it. I have your shields and have been a strong proponent of your business in the past. But, it is hard to resurrect a reputation once it has been tarnished. The only way to do it is to keep your commitments and restart a positive history. I have to admit that I would order from another source if I were purchasing today based on all the back-and-forth. I'm not saying that you can't recover from all the negatives just that you have to stay after providing the service folks need. I hope you are feeling better and up to the challenge. Best of luck to you.

Reason 1: Because Tyler put a ton, and I mean a ton, of time into developing these plates in the first place and a lot of the plates out there are rip offs of his design after all the work was done. And reason 2: I challenge you to find another plate manufacturer that makes a plate in 3/16 steel. Good luck..

@Classy63 - Tyler, Just like Ron stated above, you're going to catch some flak for awhile. You have my support as you try to get caught up and rebuild. Again like Ron states above, the newer folks on here don't know your history.

Lmao you realize he went to talon’s garage and the owner is the one who is the expert in this field and designed it. Tyler went to him with the idea and Talon’s garage did the rest.
If your boy is such a genius why hasn’t he come up with a design for any other vehicle while talons has designs and products for many makes and models? It’s because they are the brains behind it wise guy, keep drinking the coolaid

He put tons of time into developing plates and zero time shipping the product for 8 months….smh what a clown you are if you believe that

I am going to ignore the obvious baiting into an argument over who created what.

I don’t ever expect to have a reputation like I did or ever be a vendor here again. I am cutting back and planning on smaller scale business which I don’t think will be hard with how things have transpired.

I just want to let people know that I have been in communication with Tyler over the last week and a half or so. We came to an agreement and the first part of the agreement has been fulfilled by him. The remainder of our agreement will be fulfilled by the end of the month. He has actually been responding to my PM's here and has been answering my questions as he should. It would seem from what he is showing me that he might be actually be serious about trying to get back on track. I truly hope this is the case. Like I said the first part of our agreement was fulfilled. The second half we will just have to wait and see. I will keep everyone up to date. It's up to you now Tyler.

If it's circus clowns, that's OK. Hobo clowns scare me because they are always hungry.
