    That's what I need.

I think my Glock will fit in the secret spot under my console tray. But still I don't like the idea of it getting scratched up. It's such a pretty bronze color. Maybe if I wrap it in a hand towel or bandana

Could you slide me the link to the facebook group? I've been looking for groups online that buy and sell parts for the first gens.
Should have gotten a Zeak winch like mine when they were on sale! Down from 600$ to 250$ for Christmas last year as I think their business was shutting down or something. Came with a squatted truck sticker that I threw away too.

Back in the day when I still had gauges in my ears, I had some that were a 5 shot revolver chamber. They spun too

Bucket seat problems. If you had a bench seat you could just shove it under the armrest. AC + bench seat + non vvti = best best gen. I'm not biased, you're biased.

Isn't diy for a regear not possible for a shade tree mechanic? What if you swap in a locker?

I'm definitely not bias. I love both my trucks in their own way because of their differences and similarities. That being said I love the buckets and console. But I like your idea too. Not so much for the trails though.

Pricing is pretty bad, especially for the condition. For example, these have been languishing for weeks on CL for 25% less (per wheel if bought as a lot) than what @SumoTnk is asking : https://knoxville.craigslist.org/wto/d/knoxville-full-set-of-17-alloy-wheels/7612014279.html

I sent a link for those to FirstGenVol a like two months ago because I'd been hunting for a spare for a while. But asking $150/wheel for singles (when you have 5 and can deffo spare one), and $400 for the lot which is in used Pro and take-off T4R territory, that's wild to me.

EDIT: Huh - didn't realize SUMOTNK was a member over here too. I tagged the username out of habit, not realizing the OP was on TW.

I don't recall any trees in Texas that cast a big enough shade you can actually work under. If there were, you'd see more of them. Most of what I've seen are overgrown bushes but I haven't been everywhere when I lived there.

    his "third member", duh

3/4" or 1" foam, make a cutout 1/8" smaller than the silhouette of your piece, then cut the perimeter of the foam 1/8" large for the cubby.

SeatJackers also makes a molle panel that fits between jackers, which could potentially be suitable for a small holster, but you may lose access to manual-power seats. I know you can buy a generic ripoff of this cheaper on scAmazon from ruthless PRC folks who stole their design, but please don't, if you can afford otherwise to support a US company.

I always thought about Italian tuneups being for older carb'd cars. Something like you back the jets down to run a little leaner to get it hotter.

I believe this is the origin, but I could be wrong…

“The origin of the Italian tuneup comes from Ferrari. Owners would drive their cars infrequently and never run them hard, which causes the engine to build up enough carbon inside to affect performance”.

Makes sense since any Porsche or Ferrari owner I’ve seen at work over the years are driving the car as a status symbol and tend to baby the throttle on them.

It’s a real shame; it should be considered a crime and their license revoked. lol

I hear this frequently, especially as the owner of a vintage Italian car. I also hear other variations, like “the harder you drive it the better it’ll run”

And frankly, I’ve found it to be 100% true. Sure, it’s probably something to do with it being carbureted and spending a lot of time warming up on the choke, but it’s absolutely worked for me.

When I got it, I was real scared of the throttle pedal, especially being new to driving stick. Now? It’s rare that I take it out without going full throttle at least once. It runs better than it ever has.

I’ve also heard that it only works on Italian cars, so who knows…

Actually, being 1/2 Italian and witnessing a lot of hand gestures as a kid at my grandparent’s house, it’s the violent yet passionate one or two hand movements with open cupped hands as if you’re asking “why?” but yelling in Italian.

But hey, what do I know? I was just happy to get cookies and a beer at the age of 12 or so.
