No issues with alignment. Here's a before and after. There was no change. With this alignment I use spacers to eliminate sway bar rub

I like your alignment better than mine. Though I’m confused as to how you’re rubbing on the sway.

what tires are you using again?

Well shit. That’s really close to mine in diameter and width. The only major deviation is the toe it looks like.

Yeah I can't figure out why mine rubs w/o spacers with similar alignment and tire specs. Are you running stock rims with a +50 offset?

At least I know its not an alignment issue. I've already invested in Spidertrax spacers so its not a big deal at this point. Just wanted to the piece of mind that my alignment wasn't going to destroy my tires.

Here are my measurement post lift & tires (floor to fender, mid hub to fender)
    Front left: 40 3/4"; 24 3/4"
    Front right: 40 3/4"; 24 3/4"
    Rear left: 42";25 5/8"
    Rear right: 41 3/4"; 25 1/2

Offset explains it. 1" spacer takes mine from +50 to +25.

What tire size did you go with? Any rubbing? I was initially considering going with a new set of wheels but have grown to like the TRD look.

I figured out the noise. The LR shock top nut wasn’t tightened down enough. It’s supposed to be at 37 ft-lbs—but the rubber cushion wasn’t compressed at all. I don’t have an open ended torque wrench but tightened it down enough to make a couple of clanking noises and matched the number of showing threads on the opposite side.

No more noise. But now I’m concerned with the attention to detail given to torque values during the install.

I ran a 35/12.5/20 KO2s, i had to remove that drop bracket on the sway bar and leave it as factory so it can have clearance.

I got my truck back from the dealer- I refused the spacers and the sway bar relocation. I gave them the alignment chart and referenced the the alignment measurements in the install instructions. After a while they got it to where it has about 1/4" of sway bar clearance at full lock on the passenger side and just barely contacts at full lock on the drivers side. Decided to leave it as is and call it good for now.

Also randomly saw another 23 with the TRD lift and 285/65/20s in a Costco parking lot, and like a crazy person I approached and asked them if they had rubbing on the sway bar. He was like "yeah, it's pretty bad but I'm just gonna leave it." I'm glad I took it back to get adjusted, it was driving me crazy but now its great.

Haha that was me. Yeah after we talked I tossed the factory lift rear spacers and installed the dobinson 2" coils and adjustable panhead rod. Did another alignment and the rubbing is minimal now on 295/65/20 ko2's

I think with the TRD Lift I am going to remove the Toyota sway bar spacer and install icon spacer with original stock end links and that should keep things from binding while correcting my sway bar rubbing issue.

I think I'm going to do the same. Ordered the Icon kit and got it earlier this week. Might try the lift end links and see how it is first but have the original end links as well. Saw their end links in some install instructions, if they sold them separately would consider those as well.

Hello! I dropped my 2023 platinum tundra off this morning for the TRD lift kit install. They called and advised the adaptive cruise control would be disabled because the extra height would trigger check engine codes. I thought the TRD lift was designed specifically to work with the safety features? Anyone having issues with their safety sensors after install? This work is being done at a Toyota dealership.

Depends on the size of tires you are running. In the install instructions there is a table that shows if you are under 4 inches Toyota Safety Sense will work just fine (which includes adaptive cruise control). I would show them the table if your tire size is on the list and just say it needs to be recallibrated.

Ya you should be just fine. I would show them you are under total 4 inches of lift on that chart.

After originally not running the extenders for the sway bar so I could keep the bar above the skid plate, I have having that changed today. I was getting noise coming from my front passenger wheel (soft off and on grind) and the shop said it was due to pressure on the swap bar by not having the extenders. Will update further.

If Anyone is interested, I am selling my brand new TRD Lift kit in the classifieds. I was going to throw it on my 23 Sequoia but I reluctantly traded the Sequoia in on another car for my daughter last weekend. IMG_5555.jpg

Gonna replace the factory springs to improve load handling and rake. Does anyone know the width of the rear spacers for the TRD kit? I want to say it’s 1” but the TRD shock is capable of handling up to 2”. Trying to figure out if I need a 1” or 2” lift spring from Dobinsons…and will definitely be getting a slightly higher spring rate—0-110 or 2-400. This truck sags with even minimal load in the bed.

Have you had a chance to do this yet? Thoughts? Results? I have not, I am still planning on it, just have not made the time to do it yet.
