What's everyone doing when their bed led lights go out. I'd love a factory replacement easy install option bit dealer wants too much. Any thoughts suggestions or what you may have done. I'm considering installing bed strips but worry about adhesion and would prefer a plug and play factory replacement. Thanks!

One of my bed lights is flickering. Gulf coast port installed. I would think these lights would have some type of warranty. Lasted 5 yeara under a tonneau cover, not very impressive. May just unplug that side and try a different brand, like Gecko or some strip lights.

I put stock bed lights in my 2014 SR5.
If they were to go out, I'd fabricate the stock mounts and use these in them if possible.
Maybe even just drill holes in the bed wall and skip the mount..:eek2:

Lucked out. Had a set of led lights i bought some time ago for other truck and it happened to have a sample light with a push button attached. Cut off the button, hot glued in the housing, shrink solder sleeved and done. 20230610_151514.jpg 20230610_151529.jpg 20230610_153501.jpg

After I installed my DiamondBack tonneau cover, I found that the two Toyota bed lights didn't provide enough lighting. I bought some rock lights from Amazon, some wire, fuse, and a waterproof light switch and installed 4 lghts, 2 on either side, of the bed. I have plenty of light underneath the tonneau cover now.
