    I messaged K&N Support about an ETA for a washable cabin air filter for the Gen 3 Tundra. Their response was;
    "Hello.
    Thank you for reaching out to us. We do not produce a washable cabin air filter for your year-make-model-engine size and have no information on development of parts for that vehicle."

    Hopefully this was just a boilerplate answer from some 3rd party service provider.
    I really like the K&N cabin filter in my Tacoma and clean it often.
    Guess its disposable filters for now.

    I have a 2023 crewmax limited trd off road. Are my engine air filters washable or are they filter media? I haven't opened the air boxes up to check yet. I'm actually hoping they are the replaceable and not the washable type.

    My truck had the TRD washable filters from the factory. Easy to spot, they have an Orange rubber framing/gasket around the filter media - and theres a white sticker on the top of the air filter boxes thats says the filters are washable and reusable.

    I'll have to open mine up and check. I do know I don't have any stickers though, so most likely throw away type.

    If they look like these, Toyota part number PTRO3-34220, the note says they are washable.

    Cabin and engine air filter are different.
    The TRD engine air filters are reusable using K&N service kit.

    Those are them !! I can't compare to the paper disposable filters but many that had driven their '22s for awhile on paper and switched to cotton washable noticed better response and a 1 mpg gain. So if the filters cost you $100, a 1mpg savings plus being reusable they will pay for themselves in a year.

    (iForceAZ went off topic and asked a separate question about the reusable engine air filters.)
    I haven't found even a 3rd party reusable cabin filter yet. Only paper throw aways.
